"Daniel? What are you doing here?!"

Julia looked at me and back to Daniel. Her mouth was open and jaw almost touching the floor. Daniel stood in doorway in a full Prince outfit. He had on a velvet jacket that was a deep blue with black dress pants. He had golden epaulettes on his shoulders and even had a silk sash across his jacket that was embroidered with silver thread. On his right side on the chest of the jacket was his Royal symbol. His hair was it's usual messy state and he had a silver pendent around his neck that I had given him the week before I left. Julia looked at me in shock and finally  spoke.

"Princess?! You're a Princess!"

Daniel looked at Julia and back to me in major confusion. I looked down at myself and looked at Daniel with pleading eyes. He took the hint and smiled at Julia with his charming smirk. Julia blushed and Daniel spoke in a silky smooth  persuasive voice that would melt the hearts of any woman.

"I call Rose Princess all the time. She isn't really a Princess."

Julia smiled and I looked at her feeling embarrassed.

"Julia, did you happen to pick up some of my clothes from the house?"

She nodded and I looked to Daniel who smiled at me. His eyes glowed brighter as he looked at me and all my loneliness just seemed to disappear. I wasn't alone anymore in this town. I had a bit of home back with me. My best friend. "I'm going to change. Dani, you can come inside if you want?"

"I'll wait outside for you. Take your time."

He smiled and kissed my forehead before walking away and standing a few feet away. Julia closed the door and stood with me in shock. Shay came over and put a hand on her shoulder and Elliot came up behind me and turned me around. His face was pained and even Sebrina and Natalie stopped what they were doing. I looked at everyone before grabbing my clothes from Julia's bag and walked to the bathroom. Julia had grabbed a old dress that I use to wear at the castle.

I pulled on the dress and looked in the mirror. It was a red lace summer dress. It had a sheath silhouette and a square neckline. The sleeves were half sleeves and you could see through them and it dropped down to about my mid calf. I brushed my hair and teeth quickly and even did a little bit of makeup. For some reason I didn't want to look like the new me around Dani, I wanted to look like the girl who was his best friend. The one who was a Princess. I slid into a pair of heels and walked out of the bathroom. Shay's mouth dropped and all three girls giggled. Elliot looked at me in concern and walked over.

"Who is that guy?"

I smiled.

"Dani? He was my best friend at the castle. He is also a Prince of his Kingdom land. Try to be nice."

His reaction didn't change as he walked back to talk with Shay. I took a deep breath and walked to the door. I opened it and exhaled my breath. My nervousness was gone and I stepped outside. Dani turned around and looked at me and smiled. I walked over to him and he looked at me from head to toe.

"Rose, I'm so sorry for coming here. When you left I just shut down. I didn't know what happened but it was like you took me with you when you left and the pendent was the only reminder I had of you. I had to see you again but-"

I laughed and calmed Dani down. He smiled and sighed with relief. We started to walk around town and he told me how good my sister has been doing as Queen. He told me that she misses me a lot but my parents still practically hate me. He went on about how they wanted him to marry her but she was almost seven years younger than him. He talked about the Kingdoms and how much has changed since I left. I told him about the ranch and how I met Julia and the others. I even told him about Elliot but he didn't take that well.
