At first I thought he was going to confront me, instead he stood there, watching. I felt like I was prey under the gaze of its predator, like he could pounce at any moment. I paid for my bill and made my way towards the exit of the Blue Lagoon, constantly looking over my shoulder expecting him to be right behind me any second. Still, he stayed in the same spot, watching my every movement until I lost sight of him as I left the bar.
Hailing a taxi instead of taking the train, I texted Savannah letting her know I was heading home. She probably wouldn’t be back tonight anyways. I sighed and pressed my forehead against the cool window, for the beginning of August it felt colder than usual. I couldn’t believe what just happened between Adrian and I. Nor could I believe that Leviathan didn’t follow me. Maybe it was proof that he didn’t care… maybe he was actually there to see Shelly. I sighed again.
By the time I reached my apartment complex the side effects of the alcohol was fading slightly. I could actually think about the extreme mistake I had just made. Fumbling for my keys in my purse I opened my door and turned the lights on, slipping off my shoes at the same time. I didn’t want tomorrow to come. Walking past the living room to head to my room I did a double take.
“How…?” Leviathan was sitting on the couch, his eyes narrowed.
“Quiet.” He commanded.
Usually I would say something sassy back or question him further, instead I obliged quickly. Leviathan stood, towering over me, crossing his arms. This is when I noticed he was not in his usual suit, instead he was in casual jeans and a short sleeve shirt showing a tattoo on his bicep that I couldn’t make out in the dim light.
“You don’t get to talk yet.” Swiftly Leviathan threw me over his shoulder making me squeal.
“Stop! What are you doing?!” Leviathan ignored my wails and headed towards my bathroom.
Before I knew it, he was throwing me into my tub which was filled to the brim with warm water. Water splashed onto the floor and on to his jeans.
“What the hell!” I yelled.
Savannah’s dress that she let me borrow was soaked and the hair and make-up I carefully applied was ruined. If I wasn’t sober before, I was now.
“You smell like him.” Leviathan’s face was twisted in disgust, my stomach dropped. “Stand up and turn around.” He ordered.
“You’re the one who threw me down here!” He sounded calm where I was enraged.
“Alana.” He said my name with such authority, something in me shivered in excitement. Slowly, splashing water onto the ground, I stood with my back towards him. “That’s my good girl…” He whispered barely audible.
Leisurely, Leviathan started to unzip the black dripping wet cocktail dress.
“I should lock you up.” He stated calmly, pushing the dress off my shoulders slightly, my breath quickened.
“Shackle you in hell…” He trailed on, as he ran a finger from my neck all the way towards the small of my back and back up.
“Like a dog, you’d excitedly await your master’s arrival.” He leaned in and kissed from the base of my neck to my exposed shoulders. My very core felt like it was melting, I could felt my legs weaken. I wanted him to touch more of me.
Leviathan slide the dress down my arms, it slipped down to the water revealing my body. My nipples hardened at the sudden exposure. His hands followed the curve of my body and rested on my waist. He pulled me against him, my bare back hitting his clothed chest.
