Michael’s face twisted in horror and sadness, his brother grabbed him by his shoulder.

“We should go.” Gabriel said, looking at the ring on my finger.

“Yes…” Michael’s eyes stared me down. “But we’ll be back.”

Without saying another word, the Angel’s turned to leave, Isa guiding them down the halls, candle in hand. Michael turned to glance over his shoulder once before exiting.

I was confused, everything seemed to happen so suddenly in Hell that I could never keep up. I was the one who decided to sign the contract while everyone was leaving the office, and as soon as I did this ring appeared on my finger. I looked down at the ring on my finger before surveying the room. Leviathan’s eyes glinted with hunger, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

“You never disappoint.” His voice was smooth as he murmured into my ear. “Welcome to the family, my sweet.”

I married him. I married this man that I barely know. I married him even though I know he’s a demon. I swallowed harshly, damn my impulsiveness. I didn’t know it was the right decision, but those Angel’s wanted to take me somewhere and that thought scared me.

“From now on, we must keep a close eye on Alana.” Satan said to his son’s.

“Why should we?” The brother I recognized as Tirian, sin of greed, asked.

“Because she is your sister.” Satan said in a clipped tone.

“This seems like more work than I signed up for.” Jace huffed in exasperation.

“What do we get out of this?” Another, slightly rounder brother said.

“Greed, Sloth, Gluttony.” Satan warned, his eyes narrowing.

It just clicked, Jace with his grey tie was Sloth. It fit so perfectly I don’t know why I never noticed before. The brother rounder brother was Gluttony, his tie was purple. My eyes floated to each brother, all of them focused on me. I was slowly figuring them out. Instead of being seven of them in total, one of the brother’s was missing.

“Where is…” I didn’t know his name so I was unsure how to bring up the subject.

“Pride?” One of the brother’s with a green tie asked.

I nodded my head, remember the story that Satan told about Leviathan and Pride being in Paris. He was the one who leaked their secret out to the Angel’s.

“Leviathan killed him.” He purred happily.

“Lazarus…” Leviathan glared.

My eyes widened as the words started to sink in. I tried to pull away from Leviathan. He killed his own brother. I should have gone with the Angel’s, I shouldn’t have been so rash. I needed to get out of here. I felt panicked, Leviathan tightened his grasp around me.

“He had to be punished.” Leviathan stated matter-of-factly.

“Punished?” My voice was quiet. He died because of me.

“Look,” Leviathan grabbed my chin, his green jaded eyes peircing mine. “We are not human. We do not die and fade away. The Seven Deadly Sins are born from humanities ill thoughts and actions. Caspian was—“

Before he could finish his sentence a little boy ran through the halls, a demon maid following behind. “You mustn’t run in the house!” she yelled after him.

“Father!” The little boy, around the age of five or six jumped into Satan’s arms happily.

“Caspian, are you listening to your keeper?” Satan questioned lovingly.
