The Unknown Child

Chapter one

Hi I'm Karma. I'm 16 and I'm 5'2". I have blue eyes and black hair. I live with my mom in a small 2 bedroom apartment. We are not poor, but also not rich. So I guess you could say we are middle class. My mom works a lot so she can keep food on the table and the bill's paid. Enough about that on with the story.
"Mom, I'm going out with my friends. I'll be home late." "Did you complete your homework and chores before you leave?" Mom asked. " Yes, mom." I replied. "Alright have fun and be safe love you!" I will and love you too mom. Oh and have a good night at work." I put on a light jacket put my earbuds in and head out the door.
"Karma!" I turn to see my best friends Max and Jake. You see Max and Jake are twins. They are year older then I. They have green eyes and dirty blonde hair. And stand good 5'8". They are the jocks of the school, but they are not one to be stuck up or players. "Hey Max. Hey Jake." I was just on my way to see if you wanted to hang out tonight. Maybe go to the bowling alley or just spend the night watching a movie. Or really anything. You know with in reason. "Well we were on our way to see you as well. We wanted to see if you wanted to go to the new club that just opened up?" Jake asked. (Yes before you ask I have a fake I.D.) "I would love to. What time does this club open?" I asked. "It opens at 8 but we know the bouncer so we should have no problems getting in." Max replied. "Sounds good. Well it is only noon, so what should we do til then?" "Well let's go shopping for a sexy dress for you to wear tonight."Jake said. Why does it have to be a dress? Why can't I just wear pants and a nice shirt? Karma there is a dress code. Both Max and Jake said. Boys must you both talk at the same time? Sorry both boys answered at the same time. Ugh!! Let's just get going guys. If I need to wear a dress I'm gonna need time to get ready and look good for tonight.

At the mall

Max, Jake help me find a dress please. You both know shopping is not my thing. (Yes, I'm not one of those girly girls unless it is needed and called for like for tonight.) Time felt like it was going slow. We went to many different stores with me trying on many different dresses and can't seem to find one I like. We must of been at the mall for 4 hours now. "Ugh!!" We have been at this for 4 hours now and nothing. I'm honestly just about to say let's just stay home and watch tv. Just then Max cut me off and said I found the perfect dress for you to wear. Go try it on and come out and show us. I take the dress and walk into the changing room and put on this very sexy peach color dress. And I know what your thinking why would a 16 year old be wearing a dress like that and going to the club. Well you see though I may only be 16. I like to have fun. And no not sexually, you see I'm still a virgin. I just like to party and have a good time. What mom doesn't know won't hurt. Not only that my two best friends would never let anything or anyone hurt me. You might be wondering why or how I know this. This is because from a few past parties they had stepped in when I would feel like I needed them to pose as my boyfriend to keep creepers away. "Karma hurry up and put the dress on and come out and show us." Said Jake. Okay, okay I'm coming out but don't laugh. As I step out I see their mouth drop open. "Wow! You look hot! Tell us again why you don't like dresses?" Jake asked. "Really! You don't think this is to much skin? You know I can feel a bit self conscious about my body. That is why I wear pants more than anything. "Trust me girl you look smoking hot, just perfect. Now get your bottom back in the changing room and change back so we can pay and get a late lunch." Said Max. I'm starving Jake chimed in.

Time skip

I'm home now it is now 7. I hop in the shower, shave and do all of my hygiene. I get a towel put it around me and walk out of the bathroom and over to my bed where I had placed my dress and heels. I slip the dress on. I now walk over to my vanity and dry and curl my hair into a loose beach wave curl. I put on light makeup which consists of nude shade blush, mascara and lip gloss. As I'm finishing up my makeup I realize it is now 7:55 and I still need to slip my heels on. The door bell rings and I grab my shoes and walk down stairs and open the door to let Max and Jake in while I slip on my shoes. Hey, Karma you ready yet? Jake asks. Yeah, I just need to grab my bag and I.d. and I'm ready to go. Sounds good. Replied Max. We head out to Jake's car.
