Chapter nine

The meeting

Leo's POV: (Jr.)

Dad's guest have arrived and they have been talking in his office for a good 2 hours. He has yet to call us in. So we wait in the meeting room. When their done discussing whatever they are talking about they will be joining us in here. Man are we all nervous. Yes we all deal with the Mafia, but since I'm the one who will be taken over when father steps down it is usually just me in any meeting he has. But with this meeting he is having all 8 of us in the room. The only time he has all five of us, now all 8 of us in a meeting is when it is something serious.

Paul's POV:

Man is this nerve wracking. Waiting for the three of them to come in and tell us what in the hell is going on. Very seldom do we all get called into a meeting. Normally it is just Leo since he will be taken over once father steps down. I'm going insane. Not literally! I hope there is not an upcoming war between us and our rivals the Mexican Mafia. I don't want my family in harm's way. I know we are in the wrong business if you want to stay out of harm's way.

Karma's POV:

We are just sitting and waiting for them to finish talking about whatever it is they are talking about. When in walks this very attractive guy. I would say he is about a year or two older than me. He has ocean blue eyes, with dirty blonde hair that is pulled back into a man bun. Yes, a man bun. He has slight 5 o'clock shadow. With a goatee and mustache. Hot damn he was sexy. Then in follows in my father and an older version on the young man who walked in first.

Sven POV:

To be honest I wasn't ready to be married yet. So when father and Mr. Santiago were working out all the details. I sat there zoning in and out of their conversation. Granted I should have paid more attention to the conversation. But I was not ready to give up my single life. Now don't get me wrong I'm no player. Yeah I get a lot of mafia men are up until they meet the one, but that is not my case. I know it is hard to believe but I haven't had a girlfriend. Never really wanted one. I wanted to wait until my right someone has come along. Yes this means I am still a virgin. Now me never having a girlfriend doesn't mean I haven't had girls throw themselves at me. I just push, and not literally push, but I just push them away. I clearly tell them I'm not interested. So when Mr. Santiago told me to enter the meeting room first I was hesitant. But with a small nudge from my father I entered the room. When I laid eyes on Karma she took my breath away. Her black hair, her blue eyes, and Small petite body. She was a goddess. I could definitely see my life with her. And having a big family.

Leo Sr. (Dad) POV:

I send Sven in first so I can get a read on Karma. And from the looks of it she is mentally drooling over him, so I'm guessing I did good. So i walk into the room and Don Frank enters right behind me. I motion for everyone who is standing to take a seat so we can get started. Once everyone is seated I being.

Sven - S, his father will be F, everyone else will remain the same

D: Alright everyone now that you are seated we can continue with this meeting. We called everyone together so you all can hear what needs to be said altogether. Nothing has to be repeated.

T: Come on father out with it.

D: Okay I'm getting there. Frank here the Don to the Russian Mafia and I had a deal made long before your mother had past.

J: Wait our mother?

D: Yes son, well our deal was if we would have a daughter she would be wed to one of his sons. Frank's son closest to her age. But since we weren't able to have a daughter before she past the deal was off. This was all before I knew I had a daughter from another woman. As soon as I found out I got into contact with Frank here and told him everything that was going on. He agreed that the deal could still be made. So on Karma's 18th birthday she will be wed to Sven.

M: Wait who is Sven, father? Is this him? If so, he better treat her like his queen. I'm sure what I'm about to say goes for all of us. We don't want to see her ever get hurt. She is and will always be our baby sister.

D: This so happens to be Sven. He is 17, and he is the middle child. And I'm very certain he will take great care of her.

K: What so you are marrying me off? Don't I matter to you anymore? Don't you love me or want me around anymore? (Tears come down her face, just not full blown sobbing)

D: Princess, baby I would never not want you around. You will always be my baby girl. Weather you are here or married in 2 years and beyond. Sven is a very respectable young man, and will care for you and protect you and love you til both of your days end.

K: Daddy, please don't make me. Yes, he is sexy as all hell, the things I'm thinking about. But Daddy how do you know this is for the best?

S: Sir, if I may.

D: Go ahead.

S: Karma, when I was in that meeting with our fathers I was to be honest feeling the same way you are right now. Not because I'm some player because I'm not. I've never had a girlfriend. I was waiting for the one true love before giving myself away. When I walked into this room and ours eyes met I just knew deep down in my soul you were and are the only one for me. So please give us a chance? I promise you I will give you everything you need and wish. Just please give us a chance at love and a family?

K: I...I can do that. Give us a go that is.
