Chapter twenty seven

Time skip baby day

Karma's POV:

I'm now 31.3 weeks pregnant and I have been very uncomfortable. The doctor told me the average gestation is 31.3 weeks. At my last doctor's appointment we scheduled a C-Section which just so happens to be today. So here we are loading the vehicle with 4 carseats and four diaper bags. We get into the black range rover and head to the hospital. We make it to the hospital and check in and they bring me up to my private room, hooking me up to an IV. Sven and both of our families are in the waiting room while they set everything up. They reassured us that Sven can and will be in the room when they deliver the babies. He just can't be in the room while they prep. Moments later they were wheeling me to the operating room and a nurse left to go get Sven to bring him into the room while the others hang the curtain thing. Sven walks in comes right over to me and grabs ahold of my hand. Doctor asks about my vitals, the nurse tells the doctor every looks good.

Doc: Are you both ready to meet your little ones?

K&S: Absolutely.

Sven's POV:

The doctor asked if we were ready to meet our littles ones. Absolutely came from our mouths at the same time. I am on edge. What if something goes wrong and we lose a child or I lose her. What would I do if I had to raise my little ones with out their mother? I would be lost. Whoa there I need to change my thoughts and think for the best. Everything's gonna be fine. Moments later the sound of a baby crying brings me out of my thoughts and the doctor saying it's a boy. Another cry and it a boy, there then is yet another cry and I hear it's a boy. Then the very last cry I hear it's a girl. So it turns out my little girl is the youngest. She will have 3 big brothers to protect her from boys. No boys allowed. We have decided on the names
Oldest to youngest. All being 4 minutes apart.

They just finished sewing Karma up. After they wheeled her back to her room. I left the room just long enough to get everyone from the waiting room. We all walk in and they were all in awe. Four perfect babies sound asleep in one big bassinet. All three boys holding their baby sister. Already protecting and ready to defend her honor. Alexander (Alex for short) wakes up and starts to cry to be fed. Karma decided she wants to breast feed them. So I pick Alex up and pass him to Karma to feed. The rest of the family picks up the others and holds them for a little bit then passing then around so everyone has a turn. Theo then passes me little Stephen saying he needs a diaper change. I look to our parents then back to little Stephen. I hear a few chuckles and I hear them say they will walk me through the first diaper change. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I have never changed a diaper. No not even my little sisters diapers. I started by setting up the clean diaper and wipes. I gently lie him on the changing table in the room and I remove his dirty one. I wipe him clean but before I'm able to get the clean on him his little man twitches. The next thing I know I'm being peed on. Everyone starts laughing at my expense. My mom comes over and finishes the job and tells me to go clean myself up. I get up and head for the ensuite bathroom. I wash myself up and head back into the room. To see Karma now feeding little Alexa.

Leo Sr. POV:

We all walk into the room and see four beautiful babies. All three boys are hugging their sister. It is the cutest thing ever. She will be in great hands. Little Alexander needs to be fed and Sven hands him to Karma to feed. Then a few minutes later Theo hands Stephen to Sven and says he needs a diaper change. Sven looks so lost. You can tell he has never done this before. He looks to the three of us for help. His mom then guides him through his first diaper change. But when little Stephen peed on Sven, and everyone started to laugh. I remember my first time changing each of my boys. They peed on me, I'm not gonna lie. So when he was peed on it was an initiation into parenthood, and I'm very sure there will be more of that in his future to come.

Karma's POV:

Both of our families head home for the night. The nurses had asked us if we wanted them to take the babies into the nursery for the night and bring them in for feedings, or if we wished for them to stay in the room with us. I wanted my babies to stay with us. I wanted to be the one to take care of them with Sven's help of course. I fed two at a time until all four were finished eating and fast asleep. Now that our little ones are fast asleep we take this time to sleep ourselves. Two hours later Alexa wakes up and cries to be fed. Sven gets up to get her while I get situated to receive her. He set her in my arms and I hold her up to my breast and she attaches to it right away. By the time she is done her brothers are all awake and ready to be fed and changed. While I am feeding Alex and Kaden, Sven is changing Stephen and Alexa's diapers. By the time he is done Alex and Kaden are ready for a diaper change as well. He places a now sleeping Alexa in the bassinet, hands me Stephen and takes both Alex and Kaden for their changes. This is how the rest of the night went for us.
