"What's Azkaban?" I looked up to Newt and he looked serious as we walked through the streets of London.

"A place where all bad wizards go. There is no way out once you're in, but you don't need to worry about that. Thy Ministry wouldn't let you go there even if you wanted too,"

"They'd kill me instead." Newt looked at me with sorry eyes.

"I've told you before, I won't let anything like New York happen again. Not everyone is out to kill you either, Tina talked to MACUSA  and they are changing laws because of you,"

We walked up to our little house and the kitchen light was flashing on and off. Newt unlocked the door and we went in quickly and quietly so we wouldn't let what ever animal escape or be spooked.  It was the nifflers. Only a few weeks old but apparently that didn't stop them from escaping and going crazy.  One was dangling off the lamp chain and one was stuffing weights into his pouch.

The chain on the lamp suddenly swung loose and the niffler started stuffing it messily into it's pouch before looking at us. It didn't even finish before running across the chest of drawers and jumping onto the mantel piece then onto the table in the center of the room. Newt put a pot on it and watched it scurry across the table. When it got close to the edge, Newt tossed an apple and sent the niffler on the scales flying into his pocket to join the other that Newt had put in there. We were about to go downstairs when I turned to see a third niffler scratching at the gold foil on a champagne bottle.

I tugged at Newt's coat and he had enough time to duck before the cork went flying across the room and down the stairs with a bewildered niffler clinging on for dear life. We winced as the niffler crashed into a wall. "Bunty!" Newt yelled. He was better around nifflers then I was. "Bunty!" he called again. " Bunty, the baby nifflers are loose again." Bunty rescued the niffler who was now rolling around on the stairs. "Well done," Newt added before joining her.

"I'm sorry, Newt. They must've picked the lock while I was cleaning out the Augureys," she took the other two nifflers from Newt. Then he rushed down the stairs to check on some of the animals. But I beat him to the Kelpie. It was new and was one of the only creatures that didn't fear me.

When Newt did come over he seemed very annoyed, I looked at Bunty as she walked over and knew that she had been hurt by the kelpie. Newt had told her to stay away. He hurriedly took of his coat whilst telling Bunty to go home.

"You must be exhausted," he said staring into the deep water.

"You know the Kelpie's easier with two," I looked up at Bunty for a moment. I'm pretty sure I count as one of the 'two' but had shifted and couldn't be bothered to shift back to tell her. "Perhaps you should take off your shirt." she said hopefully.

"Don't worry. I'll dry off quick enough," Newt turned to face her before jumping into the lake backwards.

I dived in after him. The cold water rushing over my scaled and making a swooshing sound in my ears. I opened my eyes and could see a white bloby shape which I guessed was Newt. A dark green shape came zooming towards  Newt and then past me.  Then the shape came back for a closer look. As it went past Newt the two blobs got caught together as if one was holding on tightly to the other.

I resurfaced and was relieved to find Newt was the one holding the kelpie and had steered it over to the edge of the water where Bunty was gently applying ointment to the side of his face. As Newt was helping me out of the water we herd a loud crash from upstairs.

"What was that?" I looked at Newt as if he would know but knew he wouldn't.

"I don't know, but I want you to go home now, Bunty," Newt and Bunty stared at each other for a moment.

"Shall I call the Ministry?" she asked sounding very worried.

"No. I want you to go home. Please?" Then Newt asked. Before running up the stairs, using a quick spell to dry himself off. I shifted and smiled at Bunty. "Bye Bunty!" I said as I followed him, half exited.

When we reached the top of the stairs the rustling got louder. "Just give me the pieces," a woman spoke quietly to someone. Newt had his wand out in one hand. "I got it," a man's voice.

"Honey, if you could just give it to me..." the woman's voice came back and Newt made his way from outside the bedroom to just in front of the living room door. Newt poked his head around the open door and I found the courage to do the same.

It  was Queenie and Jacob. All the tension inside of me was instantly replaced with relief. Newt stepped out into the kitchen  and both Americans turned to face him with smiles on their faces. Jacob dropped the broken vase on the floor so that it became an impossible puzzle to which Queenie solved with the wave of her wand.

"Hey! Newt! Get over here, you maniac!" Jacob laughed while walking over and hugging Newt.

"We hope you don't mind, Newt. We let ourselves in. It's rainin' out there, cats and dogs. London's cold," Queenie said hanging her coat on the door. But Newt was distracted with Jacob.

"You were supposed to have been Obliviated!" Newt smiled lowering his wand.

"I know. It didn't work, pal. I mean, you said it. The potion only erases bad memories. I didn't have any. I mean, don't get me wrong. I had some weird ones, and I had some scary ones. But this angel..." Jacob dropped is coat on the floor and Queenie caught it. "This angel over here, she filled me in on all the bad parts, and here we are, I guess, huh?" Jacob and Queenie hugged.

"This is wonderful!" Newt exclaimed and they all laughed.

"Queenie watch!" I focused really hard and managed to close the curtains. "I can use magic!" I smiled jumped up and down a little.

"You've grown a little too!" she smiled. I hadn't but you grow funny when you live across species.

"Wait is... Tina? Tina?" Newt walked over to the door but closed it disappointed.

"Oh, it's just us, honey. Me and Jacob. Why don't I make us some dinner, huh?" Queenie suggested, Jacob still holding her tight.

If I missed anything from New York it was Queenie's cooking.
