The Zouwu was angry and hungry. It roared scaring anyone who saw it. Except Newt. He stood in the middle of the road while the rest of us sheltered behind a wall.

"Come on, Newt. Get outta there!" Jacob beckoned Newt but he didn't listen. Instead he put the case open on the ground behind him and fetched what looked like a stick. The Zouwu roared and waved it's tale. But when it saw Newt unnerved in the road, it began to prepare for a fight. Newt quickly flicked up a stick to reveal a feathered toy on the end. The toy seemed to put the Zouwu in a trance. It started purring and couldn't take it's eyes off the toy as Newt moved it slowly. Suddenly, he dropped the toy into the case and the Zouwu chased after it.

The crowd gasped and Newt looked at something in his hand before running over to us. "Come on!" he said before disaparating us away.

We apparated  outside a small building with the same symbol as on the card Dumbledore gave Newt. We let ourselves in and put the man or 'Kama' as Tina called him, on the sofa. Tina read through some notes she had made and Newt almost immediately went into the case to try and tame the Zouwu.

"Who do you think lives here?" I asked Jacob.

"Don't think anyone does, every thing looks so old," he answered. "No food either, you hungry?" I nodded before taking Jacobs hand.

We walked into a room that looked like it used to be a kitchen but all the work space was crowded in glass bottles like some strange experiment. The tiled floor was all dirty. "How's your bakery?" I asked opening a cupboard full of more glass.

"Good, I sell these loafs of bread bigger then your head and sweat doughnuts. You would-"

"Love a doughnut. You said that last time," I said closing the cupboard.

"You've probably answered this before for me but, where's your mom?" Jacob asked.

"My Mum  and I were separated a long time ago by traffickers," I said seriously. "I don't know where she is. But I'm going to find her." I was about to open another cupboard when Newt came in. He looked a little tired.

"Hey, time for bed," he took my hand and I waved to Jacob. Newt lead me back to the case and helped me in.

I could hear the Zouwa pacing behind the door. "She doesn't sound very happy," I said quietly before sipping from a mug of water that I had picked up off the work bench on my way in.

"She's not, and unfortunately she won't be unless she lets me get close enough to take that collar off." Newt sighed.  "Now, go to bed," he kissed me on my forehead as I lied down on a blanket under the workbench. I missed my bed but at the same time, dragons don't have beds. They sleep in the wild. "Night Dad," I said before closing my eyes and drifting to sleep.

It was another dream about mum.  She stood a few meters away with her wings spread. There was a voice too. One I had never heard before. "You're so close sweetie, just a little further. We'll see each other soon." Mum roared. She ran straight through me and disappeared.

I woke up late the next day. I never wake up late. I climbed out of the case and looked around. We were still in the old house and Kama was still lying on the sofa thing and Tina was looking threw her notes again looking frustrated. "Where's Newt?" I broke the silence.

"He said that he was going to tame the Zouwu," Tina answered still not lifting her head from her notes as Jacob came out from the kitchen.

"Hey, Newt, buddy," he started yelling into the case.  "Tina's all by her lonesome, and maybe you want to come up and keep her company? I've been looking for food and I ain't found any, so I guess I'm gonna go upstairs and try my luck in the, oh, I don't know the attic," No answer. "Okay. Megan do you want to help?" I shook my head before Jacob made his way up the stairs. Then Newt came out of the case.
