There were many ways he could go on about and end the world.

He could influence important world politicians into declaring war to one another.

He could bribe the elite into killing everyone, promising them that they'll be the only survivors.

He could make the sun burn brighter until everyone was burned alive.

He could activate a worldwide plague.

He could make it rain acid and watch everyone's skin bubble.

There were so many things he could do, and he was in no rush. It could be quick, or it could be years before everyone has their sweet release of death. He could make it as painless as possible, or torture everyone until death.

He got on the bus and gazed at what was on his wrist.

He smiled as he remembered a verse that stuck with him,
"To it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority,"
Just how much power did he give him?

He rushed home to see his mother humming a tune as she made dinner.

"I'm home." She turned towards him and smiled. His mother has always been the person he cared about the most. His father on the other side was the scum of the Earth, even if his mom tried to cover everything up, little Seokjin knew.

He remembers how his father forgot to pick him up from school the one day his mom was busy taking care of her mom, his grandma. He remembers feeling accomplished when he walked home and was able to recall that his mom left a key under a flower pot. He remembers planning to scare his father and imagining them laughing over it. He remembers going up the staircase and quietly walking to his parents' room. He remembers opening the door slightly and seeing his father on top of a woman. He remembers going to his room and sitting in the corner of his closet, thinking he saw something he wasn't supposed to, and blaming himself for it. He remembers that after the woman left, and his mom came home, his father looked as white as a sheet.

He shook his head and laughed as his mom tasted the broth and gave him a thumbs up, "Go leave the books and fix the table." Without hesitation, he rushed to his room.

He passed his parents' room and frowned. He remembered how he sat with his mom on the same bed he saw his father with that woman and he stupidly asked her to explain what he had seen his father do. He remembers the pure horror that passed by her face. He remembers waking up in the middle of the night to see his mom crying by herself on the sofa. He remembers how she suddenly stopped talking about how he would be a big brother.

He started to set the table as his mother continued to hum. He was glad his father was always on 'business trips', Seokjin didn't care if it wasn't true, he didn't want him near his mother.

His mother always smiled for Seokjin, even when he said that to his mother. He later knew what his father had done, he knew that his mother then had a miscarriage because of the news little Seokjin told her.

When they sat to eat, his mom could tell he had something in his mind, "There's something eating at you, talk to me."

"Why didn't you tell me how you felt?" His mother looked at him in confusion and placed her spoon down.

"What are you talking about specifically?"

"When he cheated on you, when you had the miscarriage, when he beat you, when grandma died, when you got diagnosed with cancer. Why didn't you tell me about how you felt?" Her eyes widened.

"H-How did you know about my diagnosis?" She looked at him with pain in her eyes.

"When he screamed at you and said he hoped you'd die. The library had closed early that day."

"Forget about it, don't worry." She smiled down at her plate.

"How can you say that?!" He slammed his fist onto the table. "How could you marry that son of a bitch! If you had to because you got pregnant, you should've gotten an abortion!" He yelled as he walked to the side of the table.

"Kim Seokjin!" He felt a sting on the left side of his face and saw her now standing in front of him, "How can you say such a thing?!" Large tears fell down her eyes as she clutched the hand she had slapped him with.

"You were miserable..." He whispered.

She shook her head, "I wanted you to be happy." She held his face with her hands and gave another one of her bright smiles.

"I'm sorry." He felt hot tears stream down his cheeks and his mom wiped them away.

"Why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong." She got on her toes and kissed his forehead.

"I'm the antichrist." He sobbed into her shoulder and she froze.

"What's with the joke?" She chuckled after a while but he kept crying.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." He repeated for what seemed forever. She pushed him off her shoulder and searched for something in his face. Her eyes instantly widened and she pushed him off her. She held on to the table and sat down, dropping and breaking a couple of bowls. Seokjin sobbed and hugged his knees.
