"-and there's apparently something lodged in his throat, but it's yet to be determined what it is." The man explained.

Yoongis eyes widened, "Wow...that's something I've never heard of." The elevator doors closed and the officer next to him let out a wavered sigh.

"That isn't the worse part." Yoongi looked at him expectedly. "He got skinned...they determined he was alive for all of it."

"Must've been hated by whoever did it...intensely hated. Have you contacted his family?" The elevator stopped and they walked towards the end of the hall where flashes of light could be seen from the forensic team taking pictures. Cops and investigators could also be seen outside the room, some discussing and others shaking their head with disgust on their faces.

"His wife died not too long ago, he only has a son."

Yoongi nodded, "Who found him?"

"Some girls he...ordered."

Probably a cheater.

"Oh."

"Yeah, I know."

Yoongi looked at the corner where the ceiling meets the wall and stared at the object, "Security camera footage?"

"Tapes weren't there." Yoongi rubbed his face.

"Security guard? People see anyone who didn't belong here?"

"Security guard fell asleep in the lobby, no one else saw anyone suspicious so they probably sneaked in."

"Hm, come on give me something."

"There's nothing. No fingerprints, shoe prints not a single strand of hair." Yoongi tried to see inside the room but everyone was bunched up, blocking the view.

"So they cleaned?"

"No, they didn't clean anything, it's as if someone did it and just erased their tracks." The forensics team left the room to let investigators in, but no one rushed inside.

Yoongi walked inside the room and took in the scene. He turned to the right to see the bathroom, clean. He walked towards the bed and scrunched his nose at the smell.

The man had wide eyes, but not like he had eyelids to close them. He was really skinned alive, Yoongi couldn't believe it.

"I'll go tell his son." Yoongi said to the officer who was pinching his own nose behind him.

"Just call."

He could, but something told him to go. "He lost both his parents come on." He reasoned more with himself than the officer.

"Fine, but it'll be a long drive." Yoongi took one last look at the lifeless body on the bed, starring at him, and briefly nodded before leaving.

Yoongi was fortunate.

He was born into a middle class family, an older brother, and his parents are still together. He's always had good grades and even got a scholarship to a university where he got his degree in criminal justice.

But he thought there was something odd about himself.

He wished all evil would be eradicated, who doesn't?

He was determined to clean the city of any sort of crime, no matter how small.

If he had to do something shady to get someone he deemed bad to go to prison longer, he'd do it.

Plant evidence or tamper with evidence, he'd do it.

When he would question someone, he'd break them. They would sometimes even confess to doing something ten times worse than what they actually did.

Yoongi has always been convinced that he is supposed to be the person who brings justice, no matter who he hurts.

Yoongi got off his car and walked toward the door, he noticed the lights were on so he must be home.

He knocked twice and a shiver ran down his spine.
