your pov"What do you mean why?" Daeshim asked, staring at the object that in the palm of my hands.
"Oh you know damn well why," I said, tears still streaming down my face. Daeshim stepped closer to me as I scooted away from him. "I saw your texts," I explained.
Daeshim stopped dead in his tracks as his face grew stern. "Madison, or whatever her name is, right?" I sniffled, throwing his phone at the wall with the most strength I could muster up. I didn't flinch at the loud impact that it had made, and neither did he.
"You knew that I would eventually find out, yet you still decided to play me," I cried out. "You knew that it would hurt me, that I would react this way, yet you still decided to come back, why didn't you just fucking leave then?" I screamed. The thunder clapped outside as I heard the rain pour.
He didn't say anything, he only took steps closer to me. "Stay back," I demanded, yet he didn't budge with my request.
The man bent down and stared at me into the eyes, I closed my own, not wanting to stare into the once-loving eyes he had for me. Now all I could see was betrayal. "You used my amnesia to your advantage, and for what?" I asked, looking ahead at the wall in-front of me.
Without saying anything, his hand reached out to me and he caressed my cheek. My eyes flashed as he continued to stroke it.
It must've been a bad idea, though. Within seconds, his raised hand came down upon my cheek-hard. It was like getting dropped a 20-pound weight on your cheek.
The stinging sensation was so horrible that tears evaded my eyes. I didn't expect for him to do it. My hands caressed my burning cheek, already feeling a bump forming.
Gasps were heard throughout the crowd. Some camera clicks, but no one came to help me. They just stared. That's what the public is now-they just watch and stare. Even if there is abuse.
My facade was broken as another tear slid down my already tear-swollen cheek. "It's funny how people can change so quickly in just a minute." I whispered. It wasn't funny, though. It just...hurt.
"I told you, that I'd teach you a lesson. You challenged me, so I had no choice, Y/N." The name that rolled off his tongue sounded disgusting. Something that made my heart flutter for three years now made me sick to my stomach.
"Now, if you speak like that to me again, I might do worse." He smirked.
My mouth dropped as I gulped. "I-I..." I was speechless again. How did someone so loving become so cruel?
I instinctively flinched away from him, feeling sick to my stomach at what he did to me. The halting tears were blocking my vision once more. "They... they were right," Daeshim tilted his head at my comment. "Taehyung and Jungkook were right, you are a bastard and a coward," I growled out at him.
"You are a monster, a bipolar and sex craved asshole that has truly only given me fake love. Even after everything that had happened that day, you are the same person you were," I bit out angrily as I stood from the bed. "It makes sense now, while I was in the hospital, you weren't with my parents--you were hoeing around," I seethed.
I threw out a duffel bag, fitting in as much clothes and necessities in it as Daeshim stared. "So you remember," were the first words he said after my outrage. I turned my head towards him, "Do you remember anything else...anyone else?" He asked.
"Why? So you could mess with me again?" I mumbled, throwing in more clothes before zipping the bag up. I looked outside, finding that the rain hadn't gotten any better before the lightning lit up the sky for a moment before the thunder roared.
