"That asshole," Jungkook seethed, his body jumping from the couch as he stood up. "Where does he live?" his hands balled into fists.

Taehyung looked up before grabbing Jungkook by the waist and pulling him back down onto the couch, placing Jungkook next to him. "Nobody is beating anyone up today, as much as I want to, too."

I sniffled, a barely-there smile forming as I watched the two. "He fucking called her all those things and we're just letting him get away with it?" Jungkook scoffed before he turned away from Taehyung.

"He was right," I sighed, pushing hair away from my face. "I kissed him and did all those things with him, and in the end I left him. He felt used, and I don't blame him."

"I'm selfish," my voice broke. "I always talked about myself, me, me, and me. I was so ignorant to the fact that he was right, and now I lost him, too."

"I hurt him so bad that I didn't even realize it until he said it right to my face," I scoffed at myself as I hiccuped.

"God, what do I do," I cried out, feeling helpless.

I heard shuffling before hands cupped my cheek, lifting my head up. Taehyung was kneeled down on the carpet, smiling softly at me while his eyes showed pity.

"Don't beat yourself up so much about it, babe," he glided his hand across my cheek, still smiling softly

"Don't beat yourself up so much about it, babe," he glided his hand across my cheek, still smiling softly.

"You know people say things they don't mean in a rush of anger," Taehyung turned to look at Jungkook. "Like Kook would never beat up Dr. Park, er — Jimin," he said before turning back to me.

Jungkook rolled his eyes at Taehyung's comment. The side of my lip quirked up a bit before Taehyung smiled brightly. "There's that smile," he said, wiping my tears away before positioning himself back onto the couch.

"You could always talk to him, when you're both calm, yaknow, when you're not yelling at each other."

"I don't think he wants to see me anymore after what happened," I smiled sadly.

"He won't see you anymore after what happened," Jungkook said out of the blue as I noticed his fists clenching again.

   "Kook," Taehyung warned.

Jungkook playfully rolled his eyes again, kicking his feet against the couch as he mumbled incoherent words.

"Anyways, when did you guys grow up? I mean, Tae, at least," I changed the subject.

"I mean — we can be serious when we need to. It's not like we're gonna be laughing at you while you have a knife impaled inside of you," my eyes widened as Tae shrugged. "I'm just saying, but it's true."
