"What do you want?" I sipped on my steaming hot tea. I didn't have time to listen to his dumb excuses, but here I am-sitting right across from the man I use to love so dearly.

"I-um," he paused. "I have a lot to tell you."

"Go on," I said. He kept stalling to keep from having to say what he needed to-I didn't know how unprepared I was.

He took a moment, staying quiet. "Daeshim, I don't have all day," I said, checking my watch.

What would he even say, anyways? That he got her pregnant? That he's going to be a father to a baby that isn't mine?

"I got her pregnant," he blurted. My eyes snapped from my watch and to him, my eyes widened. This was the one time I had hoped that I had predicted wrong.

His loud reveal had caught the people's attention, too. I felt eyes on me, but I didn't know how many people had heard.

"What?" I was speechless. My fingers started to fidget under the table.

"I said, I got her-" I interrupted him.

"I heard you." I gulped as I stared down at my lap.

I didn't know what to say; what could I possibly even say? 'Congratulations, you're gonna be a good dad'? All those lies, or what people should've told us? Never in my life had I felt so conflicted.

"When I called you for a work emergency, I had thought she'd gone into early labor," he said. My eyes shot up. "I went to the hospital with her, thinking that she was going to give birth right then and there."

That day, we were in the same hospital, but he didn't even dare call me or visit me-nor did he even know I was in the hospital. Worse, the fact that he had gotten somebody pregnant and kept it a secret from me the whole time...

"I didn't know what to do, okay? She just came to me and told me she was almost halfway with her pregnancy and I didn't know how to react. I didn't want to hurt you anymore than I did-then again you deserved to know."

"Why aren't you showing your true colors?" I whispered.

"What?"

"You're acting as if you're the innocent one, telling me that I deserve to know that you got some woman pregnant. I she'll run before she sees your true colors," I seethed.

"And what true colors do you mean?" he tilted his head. He damn well knew what I was talking about, he was just teasing me.

"You remember, you're just trying to make me forget. I'll remind you, though," I looked around the cafe, looking at the people that were having their drinks so... peacefully.

I'll give him a show, just like he had before. I slammed my hand on the table, attracting attention as the cafe went silent. "What are you doing?" He whisper-yelled.

"I'm bringing your memories back," I smirked. Two can play at this game. "The night of my accident, we were on the sidewalk, and I had found that you, had a mistress-probably the one you got pregnant, now that I'm thinking about it. You told me that I needed to calm myself, but who would listen to a lying cheater, huh?" I scoffed. I kept my eye contact with him, seeing him clench his jaw in anger.

"I remember that as if it was just yesterday. You raised your hand and slapped me," a tear slipped from my eye, but I wiped it quickly. "I'm not sure what happened next, but here I am. You used my amnesia to your benefit, and told me you had gone to find my parents when you had left me in the hospital alone-but know them, they're too invested in their work to bother even giving me attention, nonetheless you."

"During your, work emergency, I almost died, again. You didn't even call nor did you text to see if everything was alright. We were in the same hospital, while your mistress was thought to be going into early labor, I was in the hospital alone. You could've at least pretended to love me and go see me-but I guess that doesn't matter anymore." I didn't matter to me, I was done playing nice with him.

He stayed quiet, closing his eyes briefly before opening them again. "I'm sorry, I know it's not even close to what you want to hear-but I'm trying to be a better man, because I want to be a good father." I scoffed, knowing it was all a lie and he only said it to say it.

"You know," Daeshim paused. "I think your doctor was there too-what was his name? Park Jimin?" I tilted my head in confusion.

"He was just crossing the street, but he saw everything. You don't remember him, right? Because he just stood there-just another person in the crowd that saw us. He watched, but he didn't do anything, did he?" He said.

"Isn't it just as bad being a bystander and doing nothing to help?" Daeshim smirked. He's just trying to get into my head. "He watched us, but he just crossed the road." Daeshim smiled.

"I hope your child never turns out to be like you," I hissed, changing the subject.

"And that would be so bad?" He smirked.

"I hope they don't turn out to be a lying, cheating bastard, who can't keep it in their pants." I stood up, grabbing my bag and slipping my coat on. His voice called our, stopping me as I turned around.

"Don't call the mother of my child a mistress, she's not the intruder-you are," he said. That's his true colors.

My lips quivered as I took in a deep breath, steadying my voice. "I'm not even going to lie, you're going to be a horrible damn father-Goodbye, Daeshim." I spat before walking out the door.
