Requested by: donkke
Prompt:
Skeppy has a nightmare and goes to Spifey for comfort.
Skeppy and Spifey has moved in together once again, after Spifey left to his home country, England, after finishing his education course in America, Skeppy had been extremely lonely. He'd invited BadBoyHalo, F1NN5TER and A6d to move in but Finn's and Vincent's visas got denied and BadBoyHalo couldn't cancel his current lease especially after living with his roomie for such a long time, he didn't really want to leave. So Skeppy turned to his last two resorts, who he used to be extremely close to before Bad and A6d came along, TapL and Spifey.
Zak was asleep in his bed by 9pm- which was a nice change considering usually he'd go to sleep around 4am, however; instead of having a nice dream like he had hoped for, his head filled with demons and monstrosities. The raven-haired male shot up in shock and fear, beads of sweat sliding down his forehead as he let out a few gasps of air and his breathing slowly went back to normal yet his mind couldn't focus on just one thing.
He was in panic.
The raven-haired male stood up, walking clumsily out of his room, his feet colliding loudly with the floor as he trembled his way to the other's room. TapL had gone out to a party so the only person left to visit was Spifey. He awkwardly knocked on the door but receiving no reply he decided, in his panicked, tired state, to just walk in.
George looked up from his computer, his chair spinning towards the shaken boy as he observed the teen.
"What's up, Skep?" George asked quietly, noticing the boy was trembling slightly and tried to stay calm for the both of them.
"I- Uh, sorry for intruding," Zak mumbled sitting on the boy's bed, shutting the door quietly behind him as he sat down.
"Oh, it's fine, I'm not that bothered- I mean, I was only editing," George chuckled lightly, not understand why the boy apologised but not really minding.
"Oh, what video is it?"
"Well, you'll have to see once it's uploaded," George grinned, placing his headset down and sitting next to Zak on the bed. "Now, what did you need?"
There was a short moment of silence, the only sound heard was the soft breathing of the two, synchronised breathing.
The silence was cut in to once Zak found the courage to open up, "God this is kinda stupid but- Um, I had a nightmare."
George thought for a second, watching the other awkwardly mess with the hem of his white pyjama shirt before speaking, "That's not stupid, everyone gets nightmares once in awhile, Zak. Do you Uh, wanna talk about it?"
He watched the other nod as he began to talk quietly, his voice small in the dark room. The room was barely lit by he computer and the stars couldn't be seen through all the light pollution of LA.
"I dreamt that I was all alone and these black tentacle things kept grabbing me, they grew thorns in them and they wouldn't leave me a-alone and I screamed f-for help a-and no one c-came and then you showed up b-but you just stood there and smiled. Y-You hated me!"
A small, soft sob left Zak's trembling lips as he was pulled into the chest of George, his back being rubbed gently and encouragingly.
"That sounds terrible, Zak. Did anything else happen?"
"N-no, but it really scared me because I don't like being alone. I don't want to be alone anymore."
George nodded, leaning his chin on Zaks fluffy black hair before a humming. The time was quiet yet melodic and made Zak feel safe and warm in the taller's embrace. The cute song continued until eventually Zak's eyelids shut and his soft breathing from before faltered into a calmer one, he had fallen asleep.
"Goodnight Zak," George whispered gently laying the other onto his pillow, covering him with the checkered duvet as he moved to his pc leaving his headphones half on and half off just in case Zak needed him. He wouldn't let the other be alone anymore.
He was Spifey.
