the car ride to my auntie's house was boring. nobody was talking and i did not bother to break the silence that filled the air.
all of my things were packed in the back of the car in little suitcases and i guess this is the start of my new life.
her house was a few more miles away so we would be in this car for about thirty minutes more. i decided to go to sleep and let my parents wake me up once we arrive to her house.
-------
i was awoken to my body being shaken by my mother. "wake up... we're here." she told me. i nodded then slowly got up.
i exited the car and closed the door behind me. all of my baggage was sitting on the front porch. a cold breeze could be felt as i looked at what was in front of me.
bushes surrounded the property along with all types of trees and other nature. a river was heard nearby and birds could be heard.
the house was big, tall glass windows and modernized architecture. it was a beautiful house if i'm being honest.
then, a woman came out of the door. she had shining brown locks and fair skin. "ah, tzuyu! look how you've grown. the last time i saw you, you were about ten years old or so." she said.
"o-oh... i'm sorry are you my auntie?" i asked her.
she nodded. "why don't you come inside? my friend is here along with her daughter mei. you remember mei don't you?" she asked.
"yeah... i do recall that name." i answered. "well, she is very excited to see you! she has been restless all night."
i smiled softly and came into the house. my auntie led me into the dining room where two women were sitting.
"mei! your childhood friend tzuyu is here!" my auntie called out. i saw a girl turn around with a bright smile.
she had straight black hair, fair skin, a pointed nose, and a surprisingly nice jawline. "tzutzu! it's really you!" she shouted happily and ran over and hugged me.
"don't you remember me tzuyu-ah? it's me... meimei." she pouted. i smiled "of course i remember you." i told her.
"good now come on! i gotta show you our room!" she said brimming with happiness. she took my hand and led me up the stairs.
she opened a door to reveal a room. there were two beds on each side of the room. one side was decorated, and the other side was not. i'm assuming that's for me to decorate.
"i'm so excited that we will get to see each other almost every day!" mei exclaimed. "me too mei." i replied with a smile.
"sorry about what happened with sana. but don't worry. if you ever need another girlfriend, i can be it." mei said with confidence.
"oh really?" i tested her. "yeah. i'll treat you way better. so don't lose hope tzuyu-ah." mei advised me. "okay. i trust you mei."

things are even more dead in the dorm these days. not even dahyun or momo is smiling. chaeyoung always sleeps in tzuyu's bed now.
she's in taiwan and i want to go so badly but our schedules are in the way. we will have to wait until next month because of our world tour.
tzuyu are you still waiting for us?
waiting for me?
i don't know what i feel anymore. my heart feels so...empty. i don't feel the same with dahyun anymore. it's like a piece of my heart is missing.
i don't know who or what i'm missing. but this confusion is making me frustrated. tzuyu we need you back here. we are worried. once is worried.
jihyo won't even talk to anybody these days. she thinks it's her fault when it's not. why are things so complicated now?
i wonder what you're doing tzuyu. are you happy? i bet you're happier than before. i wonder how sad we made you to make you run away.
i can't imagine the pain you dealt with.
but please come back.
