'What's our trajectory?', she asked, looking at Anthony, who had sat back down now.
'We are due to head to the right corner of the barrier and use a 640 machine drill to create the hole-'
'Wait what?' I interrupted, startled by the immediate orders we're being given, with no context to the actual plan.
'I'm sorry?' The Anthony said, a look of confused concern telling me people don't normally interrupt him unless there is a reason.
'Sorry' I quickly replied, surprised myself at my outburst, 'I was just confused as to what the actual plan was.'
'Ah right! Sorry my boy, I forgot. We want to dig under the barrier, where the Controller lies to put in the power source. And oh yes! We will need to give you a small operation to take when source out-'
'WHAT!?' I exclaimed, louder than intended, making the robots in the room jump. The mystery female broke the silence,
'I'm sorry, Kyle, we should have explained this before,' she said, gently,' but it will be painless and it will only take a few hours. You will be under general anaesthetic so you wouldn't be awake anyway. It will be quick for you. '
I tried to process what was tumbling around in my brain. I was having, what is essentially, open heart surgery? I shouldn't be surprised really, they had to get it out somehow, it was just a shock that they said it so suddenly.
