"I missed you." I spoke with a wide smile as Drew let me down.
"I missed you too.. But damn, Serrah, you've gotten so much fatter! Remind me to never lift you again." Drew joked as he ruffled my hair.
I instantly smacked his hands off my hair and mocked. "It's not my fault that you can't lift a girl without cracking your bones!"
Drew laughed and smirked. "Well, in case you didn't notice my perfect built already, then please have a look at these muscles" He said propping up the muscles on his arms. I laughed with a sarcastic nod. But to be honest, simply saying he had muscles would really be an understatement! My brother sure had worked out well.
Oh yeah. Brother.
Drew Stone, is my one and only brother. Though I would really really want to dress him up as a girl and call him my sister!
Drew was usually away at college and only came home at special occasions and days like this where I didn't know a clue about him honoring us with his presence. It was kind of easy for him to drop by often cause well, Brown is just a couple of hours away.
"So while you both have fun together, 'ignoring me', I'll be heading out to the office. Got some emergency work. Dinners already in the refrigerator, so just microwave it and enjoy your night." My mother said as she took her briefcase and black coat.
Well, that's my mom. My very busy mom who is a life saver to lots of people.
No no no, she's not a doctor. She's one among the best lawyers in town. And don't I feel proud saying that? I do. I really do.
I adore my mom in every possible way. Dad divorced her when I was twelve and Drew, thirteen. Barely just teenagers, but we had no issues in understanding that dad liked to bang whores every weekend rather than having a loving and caring wife.
Things were not and are not that complicated if you ask me. Of course I miss dad one in a blue moon, but having Drew with me all the while growing up, I barely had the time to find a missing piece.
And mom? Don't even ask. She has been playing both dad and mom since ever! She works extra hard even though dad keeps stuffing us with dollars. Never did she miss out anything in both Drew's and my life. I don't know how, but somehow, she always took out time for us.
So it wouldn't be wrong of me to say that my mom is perfect. Right?
"Sure mom. But remember, you are going to miss out so much fun!"
Drew said with a wink. I chuckled softly and mom said, "I know I know. But I got to go right? And yes, just don't go out and do something stupid and end up in jail."
We looked at her blankly but burst out laughing. Mom kissed us goodbye and went off.
"Come on, let's go out." Drew said as he dragged me out the kitchen. He let go and I frowned.
"Out? Why can't we just stay inside and have fun?"
Drew simply folded his arms and stared at me.
"Alright alright Mr. You-will-do-whatever-I-want! Just let me change."
I said with my hands shot up in defense as I walked upstairs past my stubborn brother.
Once in my room, I walked over to my 'One Direction Wall'. Well practically, the whole wall is covered with a humongous poster of the five guys smiling adorably.
"Hey babies, how you doing? Aww, look at you Zayn, you're soo damn sexy. And don't you look absolutely dashing today Niall?"
Okay so yeah I am literally talking to the posters. But oh well, might as well do what I can.
