I dumped the candy into the big skeleton bowl and put it outside the front door. I walked back inside throwing away the plastic bags. "Leia, have you seen my black heels? The strappy ones?" yelled mom from upstairs.

"They're mine and they're in my room," I yelled. The oven beeped. I put on the oven mitts and pulled out the cupcakes. I took them out and put them on a metal rack. Mom came down the stairs wearing a long sleeve low cut blue blouse, a black leather skirt, and my black heels. "Mama you look beautiful."

She smiled as she grabbed her purse. "Thanks, baby." she grabbed her keys. "You and Luke are going to Ricky's party right?" I nodded. She put two twenties on the counter. "Okay well I will be back later tonight so here is some money for dinner."

"Where are you going?"

She sighed. "I have a date tonight." I smiled. "Don't read much into it, we are just having dinner."

"Who is it? Do I know him?"

"He's a doctor from another hospital. I met him recently. He is consulting on a patient."

"Well I hope you have fun." she kissed my cheek before leaving. I put some chocolate frosting in a bowl and started whipping it up. I heard a knock at the front door. "It's open."

Nick walked in with a bag setting it on the floor. "Hey corazón." he walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me from behind. He kissed under my ear. "I've missed you."

"We saw each other last night at the game."

He kissed my neck. I stiffened. He rubbed my waist and kissed under my ear again. "What are you wearing tonight?"

"You'll find out later." he groaned in annoyance. I rolled my eyes. He put his finger into the frosting and tried it. "Hands off."

He put his finger in again and wiped it on my cheek. He licked it off my cheek. "You know I love frosting."

I stuck my finger into the frosting. I turned around in his arms. I locked eye contact with him as I licked the frosting off my finger. His jaw dropped. "Luke is upstairs."

"You really had to bring your brother up?" he groaned. I smiled. He leaned down kissing my cheek. "I want to see your costume first."

"Okay." he let me go and grabbed his bag before walking upstairs. I frosted all the cupcakes and put them in the container. There was another knock at the door. "Come on in."

Dana and Tessa walked inside. Dana hopped onto the island counter. "Are you excited? I am so excited. Tessa, you should be super excited about this party. Ricky throws the best Halloween party."

"It's a pretty great party," I chuckled.

The three of us walked upstairs to my room. I went to my laptop and ordered pizza from our favorite place. Dana turned on the tv. My bedroom door opened twenty minutes later. Luke and Nick walked in with the pizza boxes. "We have slaved over this meal for you."

"It's still in the box," said Tessa rolling her eyes.

They walked over to us setting the boxes in front of us. I opened it and grabbed a piece. Nick sat behind me pulling me in between his legs. The five of us ate dinner together. Nick subtly kissed me in different places whenever Luke wasn't looking at us. "Alright boys get out, we need to get dressed." Luke grabbed the boxes and walked out. Nick kissed my cheek before following him out.

We got changed into our costumes. I had on white nurse dress costume with white fishnet tights and red heels. Dana had on a tight black dress, black fishnet tights, black heels, cat ears, and a cat tail. Tessa had on a mesh football jersey with long socks and high tops.
