My loud beeping alarm woke me up. I rolled over and turned it off. I sat up. I took in a few deep breaths. I stood up and went to my closet. I grabbed the clothes i wanted to wear and laid them out on my bed. I looked over at my open window. I could see into his bedroom. Luckily he wasn't there. I still closed my blinds. I changed into a light grey knit sweater, a pair of black jeans, and a pair of boots.

I walked downstairs. Mom was cooking breakfast at the stove while Edward was packing their lunches. Edward looked up at me. "Hey you're up."

Mom turned around. "Oh baby, are you doing better?"

I shrugged. "Not really but i have a bunch of work to turn in and i thought it would be best if i went in person."

She smiled. "Let's get some breakfast in you then." i sat down. She set a plate of pancakes down in front of me. I drowned them in maple syrup before i started eating. "Do you need a ride to school? Luke already left to go pick up Tessa."

"If you have time."

"Of course we have time." i smiled. She grabbed her chain necklace that held her engagement ring and put it around her neck.

Edward put their lunches in their bags. He kissed her cheek. "I'll go start the car." she smiled and nodded. He kissed the side of my head. "I'm glad you're feeling better."

He walked out of the house. I finished my breakfast. I grabbed my backpack filled with my school work. Mom grabbed her bag and followed me out to the car. We both got in. Edward drove off towards the school. He parked out front. Mom reached back and grabbed my hand. "Are you gonna be okay?" i nodded. "Okay, well call one of us if you need anything."

"I will. Bye mama bye Edward." i got out of the car and walked inside. I went around to all my classes dropping off my work and picking up more work. I couldn't bring myself to stay so i just decided to walk back home. I started to make my way out of school. "Hey boys," i said when i saw Ricky and Luke. they grabbed my arms and lifted me off the ground. "What are you two doing? Put me down!"

"Can't do that sis."

"Why not?" i grumbled struggling against them.

"There's something you need to see," said Ricky. "Just trust me."

"But i have legs and you could've just asked me to come with you."

"Couldn't risk it." i sighed letting them carry me to my secret destination. They finally set me down on my feet. I turned around to see we were in the theater. I raised my eyebrow. Ricky smiled. "Go sit down okay?"

"What's going on?"

"Baby, trust me."

"Okay," i whispered.

I walked inside and sat down in a seat at the bottom of the auditorium. The lights turned off and the spotlights lit up the stage. Nick walked out on to the stage with his guitar. He started playing a song. He began to sing In Case You Didn't Know by Brett Young. He kept eye contact with me the entire time he sang. I couldn't help myself from believing he meant everything he was singing. Just like when he asked me out, he sang to me hoping the words of another could help him broadcast what he was feeling.

When the song ended, Nick sat down on the steps of the stage and set his guitar down beside him. "My heart died when you said you didn't want to be with me anymore. You've always seen the good in me even when i didn't have a lot of it and i thought that you finally didn't see it anymore. I said things that i didn't mean and i know that i hurt you. Leia, if you give me a second chance i promise i'll spend the rest of my life making it up to you."

"Nick-"

"You broke up with me because you love me more than you value your own happiness, i know you still love."

"I do still love you Nick."

He walked over to me and kneeled down in front of me. He took my hands in his holding them to his face. "Then take me back. Let me show you how sorry i am, let me show you how much i love you. Leia, i know you don't need me but i need you."

I got down on my knees in front of him. "You're right, i don't need you," i whispered. His head dropped and he let go of my hands. I grabbed his face lifting it up to look at me. "But i do want you." i pressed my lips against his. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer to him as he kissed me back. "Nick, don't ever say things to hurt me like that again. I'm giving you a second chance but i won't give you another one."

"I know, i swear i won't mess up this time."

"And i don't want you any where near her again."

He chuckled pecking my lips. "I did always love when you got jealous." i glared at him. "I truely felt nothing for her. I wanted to get a reaction out of you."

"And you got one." i stood up. He quickly stood up along with me. "Now, mom already called me in sick so i'm going to go back home."

"I'll ditch. I wanna spend the day with you."

"Okay." i grabbed his hand. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders as we walked out of the theater. The first period bell had already rang. We walked through the mostly empty halls and out to the parking lot. We hopped on his bike. He drove us to my house parking in the driveway.

He wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked inside. "Do you wanna watch a movie?"

I nodded. We sat down on the couch. He sat close next to me. I couldn't find myself relaxing in his arms. I stood up. "I'm gonna make some hot chocolate, do you want some?"

He nodded. I walked into the kitchen. I boiled the milk before adding the chocolate syrup and spices. I poured it into two mugs. I walked back out to the living room where Harry Potter was now playing. I handed him a mug. I sat down on the edge of the couch tucking my legs under my butt. "Corazon?"

"Hmmm?"

"You always sit with me, are you still mad at me?"

I sighed. "It's not that i'm mad at you Nick, i don't think i fully forgive you just yet."

"Okay." we drank our hot chocolate and watched the movie in silence. I set my mug down on the coffee table. I grabbed my fuzzy blanket wrapping it around me. I scooted over next to him laying my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my waist resting his hand on my hip. He kissed the side of my head. We were starting over. I was allowing him back into my heart piece by piece.
