chp 5 : Psychopath?

Le Saviour Cafe:

"Adhya, what happened?" Taniya asked her, who was just going on muttering some highly professional, ear cleaning words continuously from last half an hour.

"Come on, right from the time you have walked inside that door, you are going on gobbling brownies." Taniya pointed out the fact to Adhya and Noor, who was also present there.

"Will you My highness, take the efforts of telling us, what the heck is wrong?" Noor asked frustrated by her behavior.

"My marriage is been fixed. Barat main nachane aaoge?" Adhya said with venom as well as sarcasm dripping in her voice.

"Arey, why not? It's our birthright, what sa..." Taniya who was speaking way too excitedly stopped midway as soon as she received a glare from Adhya.

"Tell me you are not serious?" Taniya said trying to pull a serious facade.

"No, I have gone mad. My neurons are lacking electric impulse, turning me into a tubelight." Adhya said angrily.

"Err... With whom?" Noor asked in a small voice, hoping against gods for her life.

"With my biggest nightmare. Mr. Ma... " But she was cut in mid sentence as her phone went off.

She looked towards it and it was a call from an unknown number.

'Unknown number? Hope so, it's not any of the rivals of Mr. Jerk. God I am not even his wife, and my life is already in danger.' Her eyes widened at that thought.

"Adhya, pick it up." Taniya told her.

"Uhh.. Yeah." Adhya replied and swiped the green button and received the call.

"Hello?" She said in an uncertain voice.

"Hello, it's Mr. Mahir Sehgal, here." Mahir said from the other side.

"Ohh, how can I help you Mr. I am the Almighty here." She said in a sarcastic tone.

"Mind your language, Miss... Whatsoever." Mahir said angrily from the other side. He surely wasn't liking this disobedience one bit.

'What type of a girl is she? We haven't even met and she already is taunting me? God, what girl did you choosed for me, Mom' Mahir thought.

"Adhya, it's Miss Adhya Sane." Adhya introduced herself confidently, well a little too much confidently, I must say.

"You mean, that biology freak?" Mahir asked in utter shock but damn, he had paved his own way to hell.

"How dare you? See, Mr. Jerk, I am not at all interested in marrying you, hell, I am not at all interested in marrying anyone. So reject the proposal, am I clear?" Adhya stated in an authorative voice.

"You don't get to order me, Miss. Sane. " Mahir said in a cold voice, but he was finding this all amusing cause till date no one dared to order him.

"Well, I think you love to make your life hell, cause I surely can." She threatened him.

"Don't you think, it's me who should say this?" Mahir asked her calmly.

"Do I look like I give a copulation?" Adhya asked sarcastically.

"I wish I was present there to see, but I am not." Mahir said in a regretful voice.

"I didn't thought you as a psychopath by the way. How did you get my number?" Adhya shouted as soon as the reality sank in her.

"I have my ways, sweetheart." Mahir said in a husky tone.

"If you love your smile and don't want to visit a dentist for fake teeth, make sure you don't use that word again." Adhya threatened him in a calm voice.

'Damn, this girl has her own way of threatening' Mahir thought.

"Okay, enough of nonsense talks. Me and my family are coming to visit you tomorrow and I hope you will say 'No'. " With that said he hanged up the call, not giving her a single chance to speak further.

"Who was on the call?" Noor asked studying her face.

"Mr.Mahir Sehgal." The way she took his name, showed her utmost hatred for him.

"But, why did he call you? Is he planning a revenge?" Taniya asked with a slight horror expression on her face.

"No, that's my soon to be hubby." Adhya replied. Her words were like a bucket of ice cold water on them but soon they started laughing like hyenas.

"Why the heck are you laughing?" Adhya asked gritting her teeth.

"Damn, I must say your parents really know you well. You surely got a tough competition. It's going to be hilarious." Noor said in between her laughs, while Adhya just huffed in response.

Okay, guys I know it's a small update. But the thing is I am not getting any good idea to write and I really don't want to bore you.
