"Girls have fun and don't drink and drive home. If you need me call me I'll pick you up." Connie, Abby's mom, said as we walked out the door. Abby's mother let's her do anything she wants from endless amounts of shopping to going out whenever she wants. Its mainly because Connie is a flight nurse. Yes, she makes good money but she is never home and Abby is stuck with Fonda the Nanny so she tends to try and buy her love.
After 10 minutes of driving out of town we arrive in no where. I literally mean no where. The teens call it that because there is no cops, no cell service, and no houses beside it. Someone could literally get murdered and no one would know. But it is also the best party place. The house is nice, it's brick and honestly looks like it should be in a rich neighborhood instead of in no where. The house use to be Parker's grandfathers but when he pasted away he gave it to Parker. Which is where all the amazing Frat party's are thrown.
"Omg there is Blade. How do I look? Anything in my teeth?"
"No and you look great."
"Well let's get some Whiskey in our system and calm down."
"Abby, you're the only one nervous." Sending Abby a wink we got out of the car and headed to the party.
It was loud and when I say loud I'm talking ear drum busting like loud. As soon as we got to the door we was handed black light head bands and bracelets. The house smelled of pot and blacklight mixed with flickering lights made it hard to recognize anyone's face. I followed Abby into the kitchen where keg stands and alcohol lined up on the bar. Beside the bar was Zeke, Abby's cousin.
"Hey Abbs finally made it I see. What took you so long obviously you wasn't working on your looks you could have at least tried." Zeke said with a drunken snort.
"Oh shut up Zeke, I was trying to find Brook something to wear."
"Dang Brook when do you dress up? You should do it more often. You know if you get sick tonight and need a shoulder to lay on I'm right here." Zeke said while putting an arm around me.
"Ha, yeah right I'd rather cling to the toilet then let my head ever hit your shoulder." I replied in a nonchalant way while pushing his arm off me.
"Feisty I like that about you, maybe you'll change your mind after you're drunk."
Zeke handed us two drinks. They tasted like straight vodka it burned going down but I didn't care I was ready to actually relax and stop stressing over school and how I will do on finals.
Before I finished my cup I was a little light headed and the pot smell wasn't making me feel any better.
"Let's dance." Abby yelled over the music while dragging me by my hand to the living room.
For my first party I was actually having fun. I let the music take control of my body and jumped and moved to the beat. That is until some prick walked straight up to me and blew weed in my face. I have never been high before and never thought I'd catch a contact high like that.
"Blade is going to the kitchen, come on lets refill." Abby said in a squeaky high pitch voice.
Walking into the kitchen I accidentally bumped into a hard rock chest.
"Ow I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." I swayed back almost bumping into another guy.
"Hey its okay its a party if people wasn't bumping into each other I wouldn't be here." He smiled letting his dimples show. "I'm Conner and you are."
"Brook? Is that you wow you look good. Why didn't I notice you before." Blade said looking at me as if I was a piece of meat. Honestly his comment didn't have any effect on me.
"I'm Brook," ignoring Blades comment and staring at Conner, "and this is Abby."
She was staring at Blade who finally took his eyes off of me and winked which made her say something I never expected. "Wanna go somewhere quiet."
Before I could go after her and make sure that jerk didn't break my best friends heart Conner grabbed me.
"Don't go."
"But I know what Blade is wanting and she is crazy about him. He will break her heart."
"You can't stop Blade the most that will happen is he will suggest a three some and if you deny he will say he won't talk to Abby ever again. The way your best friend was staring at him and giggling, she will be mad at you for saying no. Then your friendship is done."
"You don't know her like I do."
"Maybe not but I know my brother better than anyone and he always ruins friendships, sisters and even mother and daughter relationships."
"Hold up brother?"
"Yes now do you want to go outside or do you want to stand her with your mouth wide open in shock."
I don't know why but I followed him. For once in didn't correct Abby's mistakes I was going to let her learn from them. I didn't have my guard up I let it down. I was relaxed and not just with anyone... Relaxed with Conner... The biggest man whores brother.
