I have five minutes to get ready before Abby is here to pick me up and head to her house. We been best friends for 4 years and she is pretty much opposite of me. Which is part of the reason why I like her. She is more of the party girl type who wears dresses and who can make a simply pony tail look amazing.
"Your joking right Brook, you can't wear a T-Shirt to the party."
"Why is that? Abby you know I don't feel comfortable in dresses."
"Maybe not but have you ever actually worn one."
"No, but I have tried one on and as soon as it hits my body I'm ready to take it off."
"Brook listen to me it is a college party. Scratch that Phi Lamb. Do you not realize Seniors in high school don't get invited to that."
Which she is right the only reason we were invited was because of her cousin is the president of Phi Lamb. I still can't help but think its a bad idea.
"Remind me why you can't go by yourself?"
"Because you make situations not so awkward. You are better at talking to people then I am. Plus Blade is going to be there and I need your help on getting him to notice me."
Blade is the kind of guy your parents warn you about. Brown hair, green eyes, tan skin and muscular. His looks make you want to stop and stare and the way he talks seems to melt girls hearts. A guy like that sounds perfect right? Wrong he is a huge player which is part of the reason I don't like him. The other is he isn't very smart. Its not that he isn't smart it is he chooses not to be. Which irritates me because he tries to be the stereotypical guy all beauty no brains.
"Fine I'll go but I need to borrow some clothes."
"I've waited my whole life for you to say that," Abby said with a wink, "now try on this."
The dress was black and beautiful. If I was more girly I could defiantly see me wearing more clothes like this. I slipped it on and I have to admit it fits me well. It wasn't tight but it was fitting in places it should be, showing off every curve.
"Woah, you look hot. Now let's fix your hair."
10 minutes of pulling hair, hot curling iron and eye make-up brush poking my eye. I have to admit I look good. I never thought of myself in any vein way but I guess because I never dressed up. Maybe this party wasn't such a bad idea.
Hey guys so some of the chapters are short and some are longer. When I originally typed this I was basing every chapter off of time so keep that in mind. Thanks
