A/N: Before this chapter starts, I'd like to firstly thank you all that read, comment and give me suggestions.
This story is very dear to my heart and although I haven't had the time to give it the attention it deserves (you know, life is what happens behind this screen), I want you to know that I will finish it. I know exactly where I want to take Harry and Carol. The road won't be pretty - and at some points you are going to hate me - but it will be worth it.
Happy new year to you and yours! Lots of joy, health and creativity for us all.
Cheers,

"HARRY" Carol yelled while he was driving startling him.
"Why are you yelling? Have you gone mental?" he said looking at her.
"We gotta find a pharmacy." she said getting nervous by the minute.
"Why?" he said adjusting his sunglasses, even though the sun was clouded.
"Because we had unprotected sex!" she said and rubbed her hands on her face hiding it "What was I thinking? Stupid, stupid mistake. And we know better than that." she didn't notice the shocked expression on his face when she said it. His eyes were wide open and his palms were sweating.
"I thought you took the pill..." he was starting to get nervous about the conversation.
"I don't! Birth control pills give me migraines and horrible side effects. That's why I always have to have protected sex."
"Why are you telling me this now?" he said getting his phone to try to find a pharmacy nearby.
"Well... because we only had unprotected sex today. And you never asked me this before. You just assumed." she said looking at him. "I only use condoms as contraceptive."
"Fuck!" he said before struggling on finding an address.
They found out later that this small Nordic city only had three drug stores. The first one was closed, the second one didn't have any "day after" pill and on the third one no one spoke English.
"How are we going to make him understand what we're looking for?" Carol whispered in Harry's ears when they entered the store and tried to ask for the pill hoping they could buy it without prescription. Harry tried to talk to the man, but he clearly wasn't understanding what he meant. Carol got her phone and opened a translator app to try to ask for those damn pills.
The thing is, her phone was about to die and she couldn't connect to the web. She sighed frustrated while Harry was minimizing to the attendant what they needed. If it happened to anyone else, she'd get a good laugh, but it was happening to her and she couldn't take her chances. Not right now.
She fished Harry's phone on his pocket and tried to find an translator. When she found it she breathed relieved and typed as fast as she could what they needed. The attendant made a "I got it" face before leaving the counter and getting a box from the shelves. He then tried to tell them something, which none understood, and he showed them how much it was. Harry paid for it and also bought more condoms, just in case the ones he had brought with him weren't enough.
Carol rolled her eyes when he got the packages and he simply shrugged.
"It's not like we don't have an healthy appetite...."
He drove them to their hotel and Carol was happy to see that the medication's leaflet had English parts. She took the pill and sat on the couch. She had her hands on her head and he sat beside her.
