Chapter Two
The boys all looked at each other and then back to the door before all scrambling to answer it. I reached it first and put my hand on the door handle and took a deep breath. I twisted the handle and pulled the door open. A girl with black hair and a purple fringe, dressed in combat boots, black ripped jeans, a Black Sabbath T-Shirt and a leather jacket stood in front of me. She smiled at me but then her smiled dropped as I said,
“Can I help you?” She sighed at me.
“Lou you’re such an idiot. You have only been gone a year right? Did you knock your head on something?” She said walking into our room grinning.
“Eh?” I asked, confused. The boys looked at me, just as confused as I was.
“I know I’ve changed but I thought you would still recognise one of your best friends” She mumbled. Then it clicked.
“Rach?” I asked, my jaw on the floor.
“Give the man a medal!” She grinned and ran into my open arms. I picked her up and swung her around.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t recognise you! Last time I saw you, you had blonde curly hair and you wore dresses!” I said. She stuck two fingers in her mouth and made a retching motion. I laughed and gave her another hug.
“Wait...what?” Harry asked. She looked at him like he was dirt. Then she walked around the room introducing herself to everyone sweetly. When it came to Harry she simply shook his hand and didn’t say a word. “Wait, Lou, you’re telling me this is Rachel?” He asked, shocked. I nodded a smile from ear to ear. “But you said she was sweet and innocent.”
“Great, that’s really how I want to be portrayed” Rach said sarcastically, “I think you’re confusing me with Stan now.”
“What do you mean?” Liam asked, even more confused than before.
“Oh by the way Stan will be up in a minute, the car park was really busy” As soon as Rach said this we heard a quiet knocking on the door. I opened the door once again to reveal a short girl with long blonde hair wearing a white dress and white ballet pumps.
“Stannie!!!” I shouted in excitement and she jumped into my arms, hugging me tight.
“Stan-ie?” All four of the other boys said at the same time. I turned to see their expressions ranged from shocked to confused.
“Louis you idiot, you didn’t tell them Stannie was a girl did you?” Rach said slapping my arm.
“Okay now I’m really confused” Zayn said, shaking his head, “So Stan is a girl and Rachel isn’t the girly girl we all thought she was?”
“Um...yeah I guess so” I mumbled.
“Well last time I checked I was a girl, so yeah” Stan said, blushing. I guided the girls to their room after an hour long conversation.
“You can unpack your things and meet us back in the living room when you’re ready” I said and left them to it. I walked back out to find all five boys staring and smiling at me. “What?” I asked.
“THEY ARE HOT!!!” Harry shouted and I quickly covered his mouth as the other boys threw cushions at him.
“Hazz shut up, they are only in the next room you know!” I said, giving him a stern look.
“Sorry” He quietly said.
“They are my best friends! You can’t say things like that about them!” I gasped.
“Sorry Lou but I have to agree with Harry on this” Niall laughed and they high-fived each other.
“Guys that’s a little unfair. Respect the ladies” Liam said.
“Thank you! Finally someone agrees with me!” I said.
“I would agree but I’m scared I’ll get shouted at...”Zayn said. All the boys laughed and even I found the funny side.
“But seriously Lou, how have you never got with these chicks before. They are HOT!” Harry shouted again. At that moment the girl’s door swung open and Rach burst out of the room and shouted,
“I am a woman not a temperature!” Giving Harry an evil look.
"Sorry about that, we are only next door and can hear you" Stannie smiled as she closed the door. A silence swept over the room then all of a sudden i heard Rachel's loud laugh and Stan's little giggle. All of the boys and i burst out laughing. Eventually we calmed down.
"Want to watch a movie?" I asked.
"Yeah sure" Was the reply Liam gave for the whole group.
"MOVIE!" Rach shouted as she came charging into the room and plopped down on the sofa. After Stannie came in and looked for a seat but they were all taken.
"You can sit on my lap Babe" Harry said winking at Stan. Immediately after Stannie started to shake and her eyes filled up with tears.
"Come here Sweetie" Rach said patting the gap she had made inbetween Niall and herself. She sat down thanking Rach as Rach gave Hazz a deathly glare before Zayn interrupted us.
"What are we watching then?" He asked.
"Horror!" Rach shouted, grinning. Everyone agreed except Stannie who looked concerned. We decided to put on Paranormal Activity 3. Half way through i looked over my pillow to see all the boys terrified and Rach smiling calmly, not scared at all, but then i realised Stan was missing.
"Excuse me lads" I whispered and walked into the girls' room. There i found Stannie curled up in bed eating ice cream and watching a romance. "What's up?" I asked as she paused her film.
"I hate horror! And the way Harry talks to me really creeps me out" She said, tears filling her eyes at the thought of it.
"I'll tell him to stop" I smiled and walked back into the living room where all the boys were hiding behind cushions and Rachel was simply smirking at them.
"Um I'n just gonna go talk to Stannie for a second" Harry said, standing up.
"I don't think that's a good idea Hazz, she's quite fragile" I warned.
"It'll be fine" He said, waving a hand and strolled into Rachel and Stannie's room, closing the door behind him.
