I rushed down the hallways of my school, hurrying to the music room that was in room 5B. Trying not to bump into anyone I pasted some people I had known and waved, well that's basically everyone. I was never popular in school but due to me be in student council, choirs, drama, and newspaper I had quite a reputation. I finally slipped into room 5B and tried to catch my breath. I looked at the mirror in front of the room and gazed at how I looked. My green and black hair fell gently on my shoulders, I had to fix it to make sure the bangs were going the same way, I looked at my makeup that rested above my green eyes. It was kinda smudged so I just wiped it off before going further into the room.
"Good to see you finally got here." One of the girls who was on the choir captin program with me, Hailee joked. The choir captain program, aka C.C.P. is made up of five people who are in charge of the choir, due to me being in choir for the past three years, and two before that for the middle school program I had been the president of the group.
"Sorry I was staying after class to get a lecture on why we should listen to music in the middle of math." I laughed sitting on top of the desk.We still had to wait for the music teacher, Mrs.Scarrlet
"What band?" Ava asked drinking her water bottle.
"One Direction." I mumbled under my breath.
"One Direction?" Ron chocked out laughing, holding onto Hailee's shoulder.
"Shut up Ron." I said.
"Did you're younger sister put it in you're ipod?" Layla the youngest and final member of our group asked.
"Yeah that's it!" I yelled almost falling off the desk, ok well honestly I did fall off it. I quickly got up and sat back down.
"I was about to say...you? Like a band like that?" Ava smirked. The truth was I had to like One Direction, not because my little sister talked about them twenty-four seven. But because my older cousin Liam Payne, my mother and his father are cousins so actually were third cousins but anyway he is my cousin. Before anyone could protest Mrs.Scarrlet walked into the room.
"Hello everyone." She spoke in a sweet voice.
"Hi Mrs. Scarrlet." We all smiled, not even bothering to get off the desks.
"Well you all know why we called this meeting correct." She asked, we all nodded out smiles slowing faded.
"The school is cutting the budget on choir and if we don't raise enough money choir will be cut." Ron made it short and sweet.
"Yes Ronald." Mrs.Scarrlet sighed.
"So what can we do about it?" Layla asked.
"Any ideas?" Mrs. Scarrlet asked. "Don't be scared to put them out there."
"I could call my cousin..." I blurted out.
"And what would he do?" Hailee asked raising a eyebrow.
"Well he is in a well known band and I'm sure if I gave him a call he would come down and perform." I smiled.
"Really?" Ava asked, I nodded.
"Let's hope that's enough." Layla frowned.
"Hey perk up." Ron smiled pushing Layla lightly.
"Alright Angel, see if you're cousin can do a performance with his band then they can perform with us. Pick out solos between you five and his band mates." With that Mrs.Scarrlet left to do paperwork.
"I'll assign solos to everyone tonight." I said, not wanting the others to put to much stress on their self. Plus I knew where the lads in One Direction would be perfect in the song. In the choir only the C.C.P. members could be assigned solos.
"That's fine." Ron smiled, we talked a little while before it was time to leave. I walked out of the school and buttoned my jacket. It was a chilly winter day here in Canada. I know what you are thinking. Why was the cousin of Liam Payne doing in Canada? Well I use to live in England in till I was ten then my mom moved to Canada for her new job as a fashion designer. Snow fell down from the sky, sticking to my hair. I laughed walking home.
