Amelia's POV
I opened the door to see my mother and two sisters, happiness pulling me into her warm embrace. As we greeted one another my little sister Emerald running toward me hugging my legs her small 6 year old body stopping at my mid thigh. I kneeled lifting her up and she laughed as I showered her with kisses.

"I missed you," I said as she giggled, I walked over to the coach where my mother Crystal and my older sister Diamond where. Yes I was the only one with a regular name.

"How was the flight?" I asked as I sat down inbetween them.

"Long, did you cook?" My mother asked getting up walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah, baked salmon and white rice," I said as Emerald busy her self playing a game I don't remember downloading on my phone.

"So how is your new job, Lesley told us about the merger," Diamond asked as she walked into the kitchen.

"It's been good, I've gotten a raise in pay and a new office, I also bought a new car about two days ago,"

"Lesley also told me you're dating someone new,"

"Oh, well, um-" I started but get cut off by the knocking on my door and I silently thank God. I was about to stand when Emerald dropped my phone on the couch sliding off my lap running towards it.

"A new habit of hers," my mother said smiling placing another plate on the counter probably for my sister.

"It's a man," Emerald shouted running back into the living room, I hear the door close and in the flesh is Xavier stepping in, dressed in his usual suit but a black T-shirt replacing his usual buttoned down.

"Hello I'm Crystal Charity's mother and this is her sister Diamond, " my mother introduced and Xavier smiled shaking their hand.

"Nice to meet you both, I'm Xavier..Xavier Persons,"

"Well Xavier make your self at home," my mother said walking back into the kitchen, I laughed at her friendly gesture even though she didn't know the relationship between Xavier and I or if I even knew him. He chuckled walking over to me kneeling down to face my little sister.

"And you must be Emerald, I've heard so much about you," he said smiling and she giggled.

"You have?" She asked shyly.

"Yes I have your sister talks about you non-stop, but you're much prettier in person,"

"Thank you," he said smiling brightly.

"Tell me princess, are you single?" He asked his playful smile contagious.

"Yes, but my dad says I'm not allowed to date until I'm thirty, I'm sorry Xavier, " she replied frowning.

"Emerald you're breaking my heart," he said pouting

"Don't be sad," she said her hands on either side of his face and my smile brightens at their conversation.

"How about you make it up to me, by playing a game?" He asked and she nodded holding out her hands and he picks her up, standing straight he kisses my forehead.

"Babygirl," he greeted walking off with my sister in his arms.

"So that's who you're dating," Diamond said and I sighed getting up walking into the kitchen.

"And he is also my boss,"

"What?" My mother asked confused as I sat on a stool, ready to explain.
