I know that for a reader, the acknowledgements page is quite boring and uninteresting. And most people choose not to read it. I used to do that a lot, until I wrote a book myself. This exact book actually. Because when you write a book, you don't do it all by yourself. Along the way there will be people helping and guiding you to make the book better. This book have taken me around two years to finish, and most of it has just been heavily editing. Editing is the hardest and most boring part of writing if you ask me. But luckily, I wasn't alone with it.

Thanks to my former English teacher Magnus for using so much time with me in the staff room of my school, editing the story over and over again. Sharing ideas and discussing plots and characters. Correcting gramma and on and on and on. Beside myself, he must be the one who has read my book throughout most times. This book wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for Magnus – one of the most inspiring and kind people I have known this far.

Thanks to one of my best friends, Fiona. Thanks for always supporting me though this and being my biggest fan even though she hadn't even read it. Her positivity for this story have been one of the biggest reasons as to why I kept going on writing it. Chapter 17 is dedicated to you, and you will know why when you get to it.

A lot of authors often thank their parents. It's kind of a matter of course. So, thanks to my mom and dad. Not because it's a matter of course to thank them, but for always supporting me and listening to my rambles about story ideas and characters. I love you both a silly amount.

Thanks to Aya, an amazing friend of mine. She has been the person to help me through tough periods of my life. I will never forget our almost daily trips to the library just for the hot cocoa and books. I wouldn't be the same without our midnight talks.

Thanks to Rosa, Emmelie, Marie and all of my friends from my writing class. True friends are a treasure and I am so grateful for having friends like them in my life.

Thanks to the trees for providing me with oxygen, so I can live and use my time on writing and do other things in my everyday life. (Hopefully there will be more of them in the future.)

And thanks to you, for reading this book. Even if you dislike it, thank you. Because the fact that you chose to give it a chance, out of an ocean of other stories, is something I'm incredible honoured about.

Hooray, you made it through the whole page of my rambling! Congratulations! Now you can go on and enjoy the story.
