Dear Zombie

Chapter 9

When we left that market, i immediately knew it was a bad idea, the streets were horded with walkers, meaning we couldn'tget anywhere near inner city without getting bitten or killed. For hours we sat in that alleyway, trying to think out a plan, but luck was just not on our side.

"We could shoot them?" Suggested Noah

"no, they get attracted by sound it;'s to risky" says Harp

"Sneak?" Say Harp

"Not happening, they kill us" i say

"What about knives?" says Katy

We all turn to see Katy with a heavy duty knife in her hands

"we can slowly walk through and if they get to close we stab them" She explains

"we could take a chance' i shrug

"I'm done with chances in this world" hisses Harp

"Your funeral" say Noah

"Just stay in a line and follow my lead okay?" 

We all nod taking our knifes out and start slowly walk across, Katy takes a first hit taking out a walker

then me, then Noah then Harp. As we got to the other side of the street we quickly notice hat the shop we were in front of was a Japanese restaurant

"Great lets order take away noodles and some prawn crackers!" hisses Harp again

"Lets just barrier the door and just stay low for a bit" I say

We walk into the restaurant and close and lock the door behind us.

"Lets look for some weapons" said Tess

I walked straight through into the seating part, the first thing that catches my eye is the silver samurai sword in a glass case on the wall. I smash the glass taking the sword out of its holder and slipping off the cover to reveal the silver blade as sharp as anything. i tight the cover around my shoulder so i could rest the light weight sword in the cover on my back. I confidently walk back to the others

"Find anything?" says Harp

"No just this sick ass sword" i say pulling it off my back

"Wow" Say Harp

Just then Tes and Noah come back with Katy.

"You guys find anything?" i sigh

they dump a pile of food on the ground with some boxes of ammo as well

"Cool so what do we do now?" Says Harp

"Pack our stuff, eat then slowly make our way up to the safe zone" Says Tess

"Sounds good to me" i say

So we swiftly make our way deeper into the city, killing dozens of walkers as we go, we got up to south mall when we decided to set camp up for the night. we were all settling down taking shifts through out the night.

Noah wakes me up to tell me it was time for my shift lifting me up and boosting me up onto a car roof to keep watch.

I was starting to doze off when i was shocked by a shuffling of feet, i take my sword out swiftly holding it in front of me

"Show yourself" i yell alarming everybody and waking them up, at first i thought my ears gave me false hope but then two figures emerged from the darkness with their hands up.

"who are you?" i ask not letting anything pass me

"W-Were survivors" they say shivering

They were to teenage girls cut and bruised

"Got any bites?" says Tess

"N-no" they say walking closer

"Don't come any closer" i say making them stop.

"Why aren't you at the safe zone?" Asks Noah

"What safe zone?'' they ask

"There's a safe zone not far from here were planing on going there our selves"I say

"That safe zones gone" They say stiffly

"What are you talking about?" asks Noah

"There was a little girl that was bitten, somehow got into the zone, got infected then infected everyone else" they say

I didn't know what to say

"all this time we've looking for a living grave yard?!" says Harp beginning to get pissed off

""Harp calm down-"

'no don'tell me to freaking calm down!" Harp stomped off

"Come next to the fire, you guys must me freezing" i say

The to girls run over to the fire getting warmer.

we talked through the night about crap until we all drifted to sleep.
