i will agree, i might've kept you waiting, a little too long, joe. i'd been so caught up in work, i didnt get to visit you at mooneys, much less tail you.

i missed you so much, honestly. so i rescheduled a practice to see you. i walked into mooneys, and when i saw you, i swear it looked like you were staring at god. it didnt bother me though, and must i say you looked very handsome today. not like you arent usually, but today, you were a simple white tee, blue cuffed jeans and leather boots. simple outfit, but damn did you look good.

back to what i was saying, it seemed you really did miss me. i got to the counter, and it was a little awkward, since you just kept staring. my mind wandered off to the girl, sitting in your office, reading a book. she wore a striped skirt, a button down and mary janes. it seemed she worked here, with the mooneys apron and all. maybe you like those kind of outfits. i should try them sometime.

you stood up, and i met your eyes. "nice of you to stop by." i chuckled. he sounded like a sad child whos parents left for work. "im going to need another book, my weekends are too free."

please ask me about my weekend.
please ask me about my weekend.
please ask me about my weekend.

but he didnt he did say "well, you are quite the speed reader. it took me lots longer than you to finish catcher in the rye." which was probably a lie, since when ever i come her to sneak peaks at you in the window, its always a different book.

which im assuming means you finish each book before closing shop. not like ive stayed watching you in the window until you closed shop, joe. he led me around the shelves and asked me some questions like "what genre book would you like to read?" or something like that, to which i responded thriller or mystery.

"hopefully not dan brown like him." you pointed to the man in the back corner, struggling to reach a hightop book.
i laughed. he was charming, funny. everything i suspected he was. i wonder if he thinks about me like this. probably not.

he took me to the B-C shelf, and pulled out a black cover book. agatha christie. "agatha christie. very good at detective novels." he hands me the book, and i fidget with it. should i ask him now? or is it too early. no, if he doesnt like how fast im going, then its fine.

"do you have a girlfriend joe?" i meet his eyes. i know he doesnt, but i need to make sure no girl has stolen his heart already. like that girl working in his office. he shakes his head. i huff, and release the tension in my shoulders.

"alright, would you like to grab a coffee sometime?" i suspectes you would nod, but you looked a little stunned. im about to shove the book back to joe and leave, but you grab my arm and pull me back. wow. "i- i would like that." omigosh. i beamed.

i payed for the book, and folded my number up in the bill before leaving. i stood outside the shop door, and peaked at you opening the bill. i saw your smile when you read my number.

but then, the girl in your office, came out and attached herself to you. i gritted my teeth. im gonna have to take care of that bitch next.

[SORRY FOR THE SHORT CHAPTER ;( ILL HAVE THE NEXT CHAPTER OUT IN A BIT!!]
