After The Kiss

Y/N pov:
I woke up the next morning feeling upset with myself, why would I ruin my chance? Did I sike myself out? Did I realise that I'm probably just another one of the girls he hooks up with and never talks to again? Whatever the reason, I wish I hadn't listened.
Josh's pov:
I don't know why she left, I wish she hadn't. I hope the kiss didn't make her feel uncomfortable. I have been thinking about the kiss and how she left all night. I hope that she will still talk to me. Did I make a mistake?
Y/N pov:
I get ready for the day, and get into Melanie's car. When we get to school me, Ella, and Melanie hang out while we wait for the bell.
Melanie: So y/n have you told Ella yet?
Ella: Tell me what?
Y/N: No not yet, only you
Ella: about what?
Melanie: Are you gonna tell her?
Y/N: Yes, hence the "not yet"
Ella: Dude someone tell me whats going on!
Y/N: I will tell you later.
Ella: I hate being the last to know
Melanie: Sorry Ella I guess I am just better
Y/N: Thats not true! You both suck equally!
Ella: *she playfully punches my arm* Bitch
Y/N: Haha I'm kidding!
*bell rings*
You all go your seperate ways towards your classes and to you, pure hell.
You walk into Chemistry class and see Josh, he looks up at you and smiles, you smile back to try and keep the feeling mutual. Should I go over to him, maybe talk to him about the project, or about the kiss? I should go talk to him.
Just as you were about to get up and go over to Josh the teacher walks in,
Ms. Hickory: Alright class I have an exciting announcement!
Random kid: We don't have to do the project anymore?
Class: hahahaha
Ms. Hickory: *smiles* no, we have a new student, Lexi, you can come in
A girl with long beautiful blonde hair walks in.
Y/N: *Wispers to Crystal* wow she is really pretty
Crystal: Ugh yeah, I'm jealous
Y/N: What are you talking about! You're even prettier than her!
Crystal: Oh shut up
Ms. Hickory: I want you all to make Lexi feel welcome and she will choose what group she wants to join for the project
Lexi: Where should I sit?
Ms. Hickory: There is an empty spot next to Josh right over there
Josh: right here *he raises his hand for her to see*
She smiles. I hate that smile. That smile indicates that she is happy that she gets to sit next to him. She was hoping to sit next to him. I already don't like this girl.
Ms. Hickory: Ok class so we will be working with our partners on the project again.
I look over to Josh and Lexi, she is laughing and touching his arm, Josh looks up and sees me lookong at them, he mouths to me "hi", I smile a weak smile and turn away.
Ms. Hickory: Everyone get with your partners, Lexi, you can join whatever group you want.
Of course she chooses to join me and Josh. They walk over to my desk.
Lexi: Hi, I'm Lexi
Y/N: I'm y/n
Lexi: you're like really pretty
Y/N: Oh stop lying, you're pretty.
It's hard to hate someone who's so nice
Josh: Alright ladies stop flirting
I laugh and lexi looks at me confused
I don't know why though
We explained to lexi what we have so far for the project she didn't really agree with the choices we made.
Lexi: How about instead of boron we can use Gold, it's more of a challenge
Y/N: oh, um..
Josh: Lets just get it simple
Lexi: come on please
She looks him right in the eyes and gives him some sort of puppy eye, it disgusts me.
Josh: I think no, but you can ask y/n if she is ok with it then I am
I smile at him
Lexi: y/n?
Y/N: I agree with Josh
Lexi: whatever
She rolls her eyes. Maybe she isnt as nice as I thought
Josh pov:
After class I was trying to catch up to y/n so that I could ask her to work on the project just the two of us, but Lexi caught up to me.
Lexi: Hey Josh!
She grabs my arm to get my attention
Josh: hey lexi
Lexi: so I was wondering if you wanted to hangout tonight?
Lexi is pretty and she seems nice but I did want to hang with y/n, but I couldn't say no to her
Josh: Oh sure
Lexi: Great I'll see you then
She winks at me and walks away
Y/N pov:
I was walking out of class and turned around to see where Josh was and lexi was talking to him
I already hate her
