New Teacher

The next day Josh called me, he sounded super nervous about properly meeting my mom.
Josh: hey y/nn so um I was wondering what should I wear?
Y/n: Just wear something casual Josh it's not a big deal
Josh: Maybe not for you, but it is for me so I have to make a good impression
Y/n: Sorry to break this to you but it's a little too late for that
Josh: ok well sorry to break this to you but your additude isn't helping
Y/n: ok ok I'm sorry, just wear a nice button up babe you look good in everything
Josh: but is that too fancy?
Y/n: No only if you add a tie
Josh: ok, I'm also going to get her some flowers so do you know what kind she likes?
Y/n: I don't know, just get her some roses or something
Josh: ok, thank you baby, I'll see you later
Y/n: bye love you
Josh: love you
I hung up and got dressed for the day
*Josh's pov*
I usually don't get this nervous when meeting parents, but this time it seemed so much more important. I didn't want to screw things up, I love y/n and I couldn't imagine having to break up with her. Before I could start getting ready for tonight, I had to get ready for school. It's the first day back to school after break and I feel like I won't be able to focus. At least I can be in chemistry with y/n. Once I'm finished getting dressed I get in my car and drive over to y/n's to drive her to school.
*Y/n pov*
I see Josh's car pull up to my house and I run over to his car and give him a kiss.
Josh: Hey beautiful
Y/n: Hey handsome, you ready for our first day back
Josh: yeah, but I'm nervous for tonight
Y/n: you don't have to be, she will love you
Josh: I don't know about that
Y/n: I do
I kiss Josh on his cheek and of course he keeps his eyes on the road but he smiles
We finally get to school and right when we walk inside I see Ella, Melanie, and Crystal all talking
Y/n: Be right back I'm gonna go say hi to my girlies
Josh: ok, ill be over by Anthony
I run up behind Melanie and scare her, both Ella and Crystal start laughing
Melanie: you bitch!
Y/n: that's me!
Crystal: where have you been? You didn't update us on you and Josh
Y/n: we're doing great! He forgave me
Ella: Good! I'm so happy for you
Y/n: how about you and Anthony?
Ella: we went on 2 dates so far and they both went well
Melanie: Have you kissed yet?
Ella: Maybeeee
Crystal: oooo spill, is he good?
Ella was about to answer but Josh and Anthony come over. Josh comes up behind me and hugs me from behind and Anthony puts his arm around Ella.
Josh: what are you girls talking about?
Crystal: oh just about how-
Ella: No no Crystal, no no
Anthony: you talking about me?
Ella: no
Melanie: yes
Anthony: aww so cute
Anthony kisses Ella
Melanie: wow you guys are really making me feel single right now
Crystal: for real
Y/n: we can find you guys some boos
Josh: yeah I have some friends I can hook you up with
Crystal: that would be great
Melanie: would you really
Josh: for sure
Anthony: Dude Crystal and Jaden would be so good together
Josh: and Melanie and Griffin
Crsytal: you guys are making me excited
We all laugh and then the bell rings
Y/n: Alright bye you guys
Me and Josh walk to class together while holding hands. Crystal is in a new class now so she isn't in chemistry with us anymore
We walk in and I see Lexi sitting in the seat next to Josh's
Josh: what is she doing there? Doesn't she sit in the back?
Y/n: Yeah
We go over to Josh's seat
Lexi: Hey guys
Y/n: hi...
Josh: um not to sound rude but, why are you sitting here?
Lexi: I asked the teacher if I could sit here, I can't see in the back
I knew she was lying, I could tell she still liked Josh and she was trying to take him from me. I guess Josh could tell that I was upset cause he turned to me and kissed my head.
Josh: It's ok y/nn
The second bell rings and I head over to my spot.
Mr. Mason: Hello class! Your teacher will be gone for a while so I will be your substitute.
Lexi: Is she ok?
Mr. Mason: she is perfectly fine, she is having a child!
Mr. Mason is about 23 years old and he is super handsome. All these girls are totally crushing on him. He also seems really chill.
Mr. Mason: so for our first day back, I just want to meet you all, so we are going to go around and say our names.
We go around the room saying our names and then we get to me
Y/n: I'm y/n
Mr. Mason looks at me and smiles
Mr. Mason: nice to meet you y/n
We move onto all the other students and finally finish.
Mr. Mason: I don't really have anything else planned so you can all just hang out, just keep the volume at a minimum.
I looked over at Josh and signalled for him to come to me since I didn't want to go near Lexi.
Josh: Hey
Y/n: Hey
Josh: I don't like the way Mr. Mason was looking at you
Y/n: oh my god Josh, he's our teacher you definitely don't have to be jealous, even if he is super hot
Josh: excuse you?
Y/n: I'm kidding hahaha
Josh: No you aren't
Y/n: you're right, I'm not
Josh: wooow
Y/n: you know I love you
Josh: You're right, I do
Josh kisses me
Mr. Mason: hey no kissing in class
Josh: I'm sorry, can I go in the hallway to kiss my girlfriend
Mr. Mason: Watch the way you're speaking to me please
I put my hand on Josh's
Y/n: Josh It's fine
The rest of the day goes by fast and me and Josh meet up at his car
Josh: that guy is a bitch
Y/n: you're still hung up on that?
Josh: Yes, I wanted to kiss you
Y/n: maybe he is just jealous that you have such a hot girlfriend
Josh: you can say that again
Josh kisses me and we drive home.
