The Big Night

We get to Josh's house and we both hop out of the car
Josh: Alright let me show you the outfit I'm wearing tonight, and we have to stop by the store to get the flowers
Y/n: You're really cute when you're anxious
I giggle
Josh: and you're really cute when you aren't talking
Josh giggles trying to mock me
Y/n: You are seriously such a brat
Josh grabs my arm and pulls me close to him, he kisses me passionately.
Y/n: ok you're a little bit less of a brat :)
Josh: good, ill be right back
I follow Josh inside and sit on his couch, he comes downstairs after 5 minutes, I turn around on the couch and kneel so I can see him. He is wearing a navy blue button down with dark grey dress pants.
Y/n: you look so handsome baby!
Josh: I think I look HOT
Y/n: You got that right
Josh turns around to go upstairs and I jokingly spank him
Josh: Giiirl did you really just do that
Y/n: I sure did!
Josh: hahaha why
Y/n: Those pants make your butt look good, why else would I spank you.

Josh winks at me and walks upstairs, making sure to move his hips as much as possible

Josh shouts at me as he is still walking up the stairs
Josh: you can't die yet, we still gotta get married
The thought of that makes me blush and I smile super wide.
Y/n: who says I wanna get married to you?
Josh: who says I am giving you any choice?
After about 3 minutes Josh comes downstairs
Josh: Alright can we go to the store and get the flowers
Y/n: yup let's go
We get in his car and drive to the store, the whole time we are driving I am imaging that me and Josh are a married couple going to the store together to get groceries for our home, now that Josh mentioned it, I can't seem to get it off my mind.
I turn to Josh
Y/n: I love you :)
Josh: I love you too!
We go into the store and come out with flowers and Josh decided that he wanted to bring desert so he bought a cheesecake.
It's now 4:00 pm and we are having dinner at 5:30, I wanted to go home and get dressed so Josh dropped me off at my house. When I walked in I saw my mom attempting to make lasagna.
Y/n: mom what are you doing, the last time you cooked was like 2 years ago
Mom: I just wanted it to be special
*she sighs*
Mom: I guess I can just order a pizza
Y/n: no no mom it's ok, I guess I can help you
Mom: really?
Y/n: sure..
I barely talk to my mom, but she's trying her best to be better.
She already had all the meat filling and everything ready so we just had to assemble it.
Mom: ok can you lay the noodles in the pan? Ill put the filling in
Once I finish the noodles she goes to put in the meat, when it falls in the pan some sauce flashes up on both of us and we start laughing.
Y/n: hahaha maybe next time we can drop it closer down the the bottom
Mom: good idea!
We both help eachother to finish making it and put it in the oven, it's now 4:45
Y/n: I'm gonna go get dressed
Mom: ok :)
I was planning on just wearing some leggings and a shirt, but since Josh got all dressed up so did I. I put on a cute little sun dress that I have been wanting to wear and head downstairs.
Mom: sweetie you look so pretty!
Y/n: really? Thanks mom :)
Mom: of course hunny
She comes over and hugs me
Mom: I am sorry for never being here for you, you deserve better
Y/n: Mom there is no one better, I want you.
She starts to tear up
Y/n: mom! It's ok!
I wipe away her tears
Mom: I just feel like I missed everything in your life, I didn't even know you had a boyfriend!
Y/n: but now you do! And you're making an effort to be better, That's all I could ask for.
Mom: I love you, I am so lucky to have you
Y/n: I love you too mom, now I'm going to go set the table
Mom: ok thank you y/n
I am almost finished setting up the table when I hear the doorbell and I run over to get it.
Josh: Hey beautiful! I love the dress!
Y/n: Thank you Josh, I just got it :) come in.
He comes inside and helps me finish setting up the table. While setting up the table I see Josh pick up a towel.
Y/n: I know what you're gonna do and you better not
Josh: I don't know what you're talking about
Y/n: Yes you do Josh Richards and I swear if you do it I will break up with you
Josh: you don't have the guts to
Y/n: do it and see what happens
Josh whips the towel at me and I start running, he chases me into the kitchen, but before he reaches me I grab a towel.
Y/n: don't do it, I have a weapon too
Josh: ok ok, truce
I set down the towel and turn to finish setting the table and he whips me in the but.
Y/n: ow! You asshole!
I slap Josh on the arm
Josh: ow, I had to
Y/n: no you didn't
Josh: ok fine, I wanted to
I laugh, I see my mom coming down the stairs
Y/n: grab the flowers
Josh grabs his flowers that he set on the counter and walk over to my mom
Josh: here you go Mrs. Y/ln
Mom: Oh thank you! They're beautiful
Josh: So are you! I see where your daughter gets it from
Mom: oh don't flatter me
Josh: It's true Mrs. Y/ln
Y/n: Josh lying is a sin
Mom: y/n y/ln!
I laugh and I can see Josh laughing a bit too.
Y/n: I'm just kidding mom haha
Mom: you better be
We all sit at the table and my mom serves the food
Josh: thank you so much Mrs. Y/ln, this is really good. I wish I got food this good at home.
Mom: Thank you Josh! I am trying to cook more often. You're welcome anytime!
Josh: Can I get the recipe for this?
Mom: oh sure! I just got it online haha
Y/n: Third wheeling is really a bummer
Mom: oh shush you!
Josh: haha
We all talked for a few hours and my mom exchanged the recipe with Josh. It was now 8:12
Josh: I think I better head home, thank you so much for having me, I had a great time.
Mom: Of course sweetie! Come over whenever
I walk Josh out of the house and kiss him goodbye.
Josh: Your mom approves so we can get married now
Y/n: Not quite yet
Josh: ok ok
Y/n: I still have to meet your parents
Josh: and I have to meet your dad
Y/n: good luck with that
Josh: I will charm him with my amazing personality
Y/n: you tell yourself that Josh
Josh: whatever, I love you
Y/n: Love you, goodbye
We kiss eachother one last time and he gets into his car and drives away.
