"jeno, i really don't know what to pack."

he says through the facetime video as jeno played a game on his laptop.

"what?! you still haven't packed yet?"

jeno says, annoyed at the younger boy as he rolls his eyes.

this was so typical of jeno's best friend.

he would always pull something like this at the very last minute.

"cut me some slack. i've had stuff on my mind."

he says, an expression of sadness written on his face.

jeno stayed silent for a short while.

he truly did feel bad for his best friend because he was going through so much that he didn't know how else to help but plan this little get-together.

"i'm sorry."

jeno says, causing his friend to slightly smile.

"no, it's okay. i should've packed earlier, regardless of my situation."

he says, folding a shirt into his duffel bag.

the two friends began conversing over how much fun this weekend was going to be.

they were all going to let loose and not let their current lives affect how this weekend was going to go.

this weekend meant they were free from the world.

"hello?"

i say, picking up the dorm room phone.

"hello, is miss y/n there?"

the dorm owner asks.

"yes, i am. is there something you need?"

i say, confusion running along my face as i think of what could potentially be happening.

why would the dorm owner be asking for me this late in time?

surely she would have left by now.

"a young man came asking for you. he said it's important and that he wants to talk to you."

she says and i nod through the phone without realizing she cannot see me.

"okay. i'll be down quickly."

i say, hanging up the phone and grabbing my cell and keys before a voice stops me.

"is it jaemin? is he here for you?"

jiyeon asks as she sips milk from a glass cup.

i nod, leaving the dorm room in a hurry.

i wondered what could have been so important that he had asked to see me this late.

fear grew in my bones because the thoughts and actions possible were in session.

what if jaemin breaks up with me because i'm one who cannot express myself?

what if he leaves me because he cannot deal with me?
