"fuck."

jaehyun muttered as he repeatedly attempted to power on his phone.

he was given no luck when the phone screen stayed black.

the boy was currently on a plane to his father's company.

that's where jeno had packed away and escaped to.

jaehyun groaned and clutched his phone tightly.

he just wanted to see you so bad.

but then he remembered the emptiness he felt when he woke up and you had disappeared.

he didn't like the emptiness that followed after spending his time with you.

he didn't like having to separate from you because you weren't his and in your heart could never be him.

jaehyun was afraid for everything he had put at risk.

he was afraid for his heart.

mr. jeong had introduced to a large crowd of employees and workers.

the room was so big, jeno couldn't make out the faces even from five rows away.

jeno straightened his tie as he stood beside his father.

now was not the time to joke around

"he will be working alongside me starting today and since we all are all the same, there is no need to treat him any different than how you treat me."

jeno swallowed a gulp.

he was nervous and shaking on the inside but no one could really tell from how he was standing with perfect posture.

jeno looked like an expensive businessman.

"thank you, you all are dismissed."

mr. jeong finished.

suddenly the large doors opened and jaehyun came rushing inside dressed way too casually for anyone at the company.

"jaehyun?"

his father questioned as jaehyun walked towards him.

"father."

jaehyun replied, leaning forward to bow swiftly.

"why are you here?"

his father's words had him questioning it himself.

why was he truly there?

whatever it may be, jeno and jaemin's business did not include him.

jeno was a full-grown adult so why should he care if jeno wanted to start working at the company?

with all these things in his mind, jaehyun didn't know what else to say.

but what his mouth said was,

"i've decided that i want to begin work here."

jeno clenched his fists tightly at his words.
