It was early when they had left. The sun was barley poking its head up into the sky when they set off to begin their journey. They both wore a bag on their back, one holding personal needs and the other a few spare clothes with their electronic devices tucked away.

Tiger and Weasel both chattered away when they first were walking into the what seemed to be never-ending woods. A path was slightly visible but difficult to catch as they walked on. The sun soon was high in the sky, shining on everything below it.

A little river was near by and the two decided to rest and snack on something. Weasel pulled out a box of Goldfish and smiled lightly, waving the box high above her head.

"It's about time! I'm starving over here," Tiger exclaimed as she snatched the box out of Weasel's hands.

The box was brand new just for the trip, yet had a few dents in it due to the box having a few tumbles after buying it.

"You always say that," Weasel laughed.

Weasel pulled out a ziplock bag with already cooked waffles from before leaving the house. Her mouth watered as she bit into her favorite food.

"Shut up loser. Never asked for your opinion."

They both went silent as they enjoyed the view while snacking. The river gave off a small breeze that caused goosebumps to cover both girls arms and legs. It glittered a golden shine from the sun hitting it. They soon finished and returned to walking, but with less talking.

Trees upon trees were passed and soon the trail had become even tougher to search out. It didn't help when they had yet to find what they were searching for and the sun was beginning to fall again.

They both stopped, Tiger pulling out her coat and another snack. She zipped the coat up and stared off into the trees, admiring the beauty of nature. Even if they found nothing, they were getting fresh air along with good exercise.

Weasel slightly shivered but didn't want to put her coat on, too stubborn to stop and waste the remaining daylight. The two continued to walk even deeper into the woods, not thinking to stop and turn back.

"We should find shelter soon or something," Weasel suggest, as she noticed a few wolf prints molded into the dirt.

"Collect some sticks to make a fire first, then we can sleep."

Tiger waved her hand into Weasel's face as she smirked. First Tiger would appreciate to be cozy warm then to sleep cold.

"Without your help?" Weasel gaped.

"Nope."

"Jerk..." Weasel muttered under her breath.

They had both agreed before this trip that they would hang a hammock up high enough so wolves and bears couldn't reach them.

"Did I hear an inconvenience speaking?" Tiger teased as she waited for Weasel's reaction.

They stopped in-front of two trees and silently agreed that this would be the spot.

"Shut up you soul eater."

"Very original." Tiger retorted as she kicked Weasel in the leg.

Weasel rolled her eyes before doing it back. She stopped though to get the hammock out. Before she could pull out the hammock though, twigs snapped from somewhere nearby.

Both girls froze, looked at each other before trying to look in the direction for what caused the interruption of the calm.

"Did you-"

"Shhh!"

Tiger quickly interrupted Weasel's question before squinting into the distance. They stood there silent for a clear minute before they both decided it was nothing serious to read into.

After about an hour, they were laying in the hammock and the fire was slowly dying out. They had fallen asleep yet... something was off. Near where the noise had been from, stood 3 figures.

It was far too dark at this point to make out their descriptions. It was obvious though that two of them wore hoods. They stood there for another few minutes before silently leaving, no trace of them being left behind.
