Time had passed, and it felt like an eternity had passed. Their paths had been decided as soon as they became friends. The exact moment they started talking had closed their decided fates.
They had the option to avoid each other and continue on with their ever so miserable boring lives, and never realize they were meant to be best friends, a perfect mold for each other, personality wise.
If they had avoided the urge to talk to each other, Weasel would have most likely found a different person to tag around and annoy before ditching them and continuing the process until death. Tiger would have most likely ran off at some point and have never realized her future held pure gold.
But they ignored the opportunity of normal. They knew it as soon as they began talking that there was something strange and similar about each other. They had practically shook hands with the universe, agreeing to the fact they'd never again return to a calm life.
In many others eyes, they would have thought the two had unfortunately caught the attention of a horrible creature no one dared to cross paths with. They were under his control now and at his mercy. If they were to doubt or ignore him, horrible pain would come forth.
But they were shockingly happy. That had agreed to drink the goblet full of the black poison with so hesitation. As long as they were together, they didn't care what had to be done. If they were told to kill, so be it. If it was to simply make sure no one caught on, where was the harm in their friendship?
As time went on, they noticed the heavy reports of the two of them missing simmer down. No one cared to keep an eye out for them. No family remembered them either, most likely not wanting to know their children were out there, gone.
This did not lower the high spirits of the girls though. It only made them feel stronger about themselves. They worked for something. They saw creatures and monsters that constantly went unnoticed. If high school them had met them now, they would even consider the two monsters as well.
Their skills were high in many ways. Their reflexes were crazy fast. It was shocking of how much they changed. But did their friendship waver? Never did and never would.
The sun was beginning to set and the two headed out into the streets of a lively city. Their mission was to search for a certain somebody who was getting far too close for comfort in many ways. Once finding that person, they could take matters into their own hands as long as they were to be reasonable.
Tiger wore a black hoodie that had small purple fire-like patterns on the sleeves along with black dress pants. Weasel wore a white hoodie with purple checkers on the sleeve and black shorts.
"Remember, we can't screw this first mission up." Weasel whispered.
Tiger smirked before the two linked arms. It was time to roll out and begin their long journey until the end. But it would be quite a while before that end. Was there stuff they still feared? Most definitely, but that never would stop their dreams.

"Why don't you come out you freaks?!"
The stranger looked around with wide eyes, his teeth barred and his stance stiff. He showed obvious signs of fear just from his voice wavering. Weasel chuckled as Tiger applauded.
They were currently in an abandoned factory, the three the only ones inside. The man was in his early 20's, wearing a roughed up t-shirt. He was covered in dust and grime, a few small cuts littering his arms and face.
Steadily, Tiger walked out from the dark shadows of the factory. Her face showed bored amusement as her shoes slapped against the glass covered pavement, continuing to applaud.
