Chapter 43

Right as the officers were leaving, I ran to Valeria. She was shaking a bit, still processing all that had happen. As I came to her, I hugged her. I hugged her a bit tighter that I intended to, she didn't do anything about it, except for pushing her body on mine. I sushed myself on her as well, so there was almost no space between us, that I did for her to know that I was there.

"He. He pointed a gun. At us. Why did he- Why did he do that." She cried out, with a silenced voice as she has her face dived in my shoulder.

"It is alright, my love, there are gone. Look at me, Val." I say, and as she looks at me I give her a gentle kiss. "You are alright. I am right here. Everything is alright."

"Alright, okay." She says with her head moving from my shoulder. When she catches a breath she says with now calmer voice. "Is it not funny that we always change the roles? Once I calm you down, once you calm me down." As she says that I can't resist to start laughing quitly, she does the same.

Lana/Lania who was until that very moment just standing next to us, together with Cladius and Octavia, got a cell phone from a pocket of her cloak, opens the phone with her finger and called someone.

"This is agent Lana Vicus, code 24590." She says into the phone.

"ID confirmed. Proceed." Said masculine, robotic-like voice through the phone. 

"I report that my cover has been blown. I request an escort to area of Avenue Park near to the People's Hall."

"Understood. Escort on its way. Is a clean up needed?"

"Negative sir. But I need some with from DPS to go with the escort."

"Understood" The man says and pauses for a moment. "Escort and DPS officer en route to your location. Over and out" As the man finished the sentence, the call ended and Lana/Lania put the phone back into the pocket.

"What is an DPS officer?" I asked, sounding concerned.

"Don't be worried Antistia." Lana/Lania assured me. "DPS officer is a person who oversees a mental state of both agent of Ordo Hydra and the regular staff. They will make sure that she is okay, it is just to make sure she won't suffer from any traumas."

"Alright" I said.

After couple of minutes of waiting the escort team arrived. Group of two men in a black suits and black glasses and a woman in long white medical suit, the woman had a small bag in her hand. As they came to us, the people around us didn't even breath, I guess they were used to fact that whenever there was someone looking like that it meant only thing, that being troubles.

"Ma'am!" Said one of two men and saluted Lana/Lania.

Lana/Lania saluted back and then with a stone face, pointing at Valeria said. "Escort the three of them to the wherever they want. And officer, examine the woman for any sign of trauma."

"I don't want to go." Cried Octavia to me. "I want to stay with you."

"I know honey, but I have to take care of something now. It is better if you go with Valeria and Cladius back to the mansion. I will be back as soon as I can." I assured her. "And if you will behave and will be awake once I come back, I will tell you a story." I promised.

"A story?" She asked. "I would love that." She said it will a wide open eyes and a big smile

"Alright O. Let's go." Valeria said, grabbed Octavia's hand and together with Cladius and the three officers went from the park.

I was only with Lana/Lania now. As I looked at her, she was now leaning on the tree. She was silent, looking in front of her, she was thinking about something or thinking something trough. People were at that time walking around us, but they were still looking with a causion on both of us.
