Chapter 12

Zoey's POV
"Dad, it's getting cloudy...," I frowned, "I know we will be fine even if it thunders, but Mary? I don't know if Grandpa..."

"Well, Mary's technically Zeus / Jupiter's great-granddaughter through Mars and his great-niece through Pluto, but I don't know either."

BOOM, went the first bolt of lightning. Mary the eagle looked surprised. It was hard to hear anything in the heavy rain, but I felt like Dad was telling me something.

"Move the clouds away!" Das shouted. I did as told. We used our wind powers and together, we manage to drive the storm - not Storm storm, you get what I mean- away. By then it was at least 2 p.m. . We got slowed down.

We flew for another hour. Finally, we saw something like an island. It was very loud.

"Agh, that's Harpy HQ right there!" Dad said loudly, "Oops."

We were lucky they didn't notice us. I guess they were too loud themselves. Mary flew towards the harpy place, but she dived for the beach and landed.

"She's behind that rock, under that tree over there." Mary pointed.

I tiptoed over and saw Bianca under a leaf- dirty, kinda wet, covered in plants, and cold, but happy and most importantly alive. I also saw a nymph, glad but sad. I think she's made friends.

"Ready to go? Your dad's so panicked." I informed.

"But Rowan..."

"Don't worry, we can always visit her next vacation." Dad said.

"Alright..." Bianca gave Rowan a sad smile.

Reyna's POV
As soon as the thunderstorm stopped, we all spilled out, waiting anxiously for the SAR team to return. It was past lunch already.

We waited for hours. By 4 p.m. they weren't even anywhere close to being seen.

Nico was not calm at all. Frank and Hazel were starting to get worried. Piper had so much nervous energy she acted like Leo, no kidding.

"Guys, should we be-?" Calypso said.

"Uh..."

"Maybe a little? No, a LOT."

By 5 o'clock we were about to Iris-message, but some figures appeared in the sky. A man... a little girl... a pegasus with a rider... a humongous tree...? Wait what? Huh? That's bizzare.

Oh, nevermind, my eyes were just playing tricks on me.

"Jason! Oh my gods, you're safe, Zoey and Mary's safe, Bianca's found..." Piper smiled from ear to ear.

Frank, Hazel, and Emilie were crowding around Mary to hear the details.

Nico was overjoyed to have Bianca back. Will sighed contently.

"I am NOT letting that happen again, you SCARED me."

"What's this on your arm... leaves, sticky paste, is this herbal medicine? Wow, I've never thought of hiring Demeter children for healers..."
