It's been weeks. Andrew moved out of the room with Neil and into Léo's room. Neil haven't moved out of the room since he yelled at Andrew. Wymack was worried. That's why he knocked on the door at four am.
"Hey, is Neil here?" asked Wymack as an extra tired Andrew opened the door. Andrew snorted. "Still in his fucking room"
Wymack pushed Andrew away and walked in and to the bedroom Andrew once shared with Neil. Andrew rolled his eyes and closed the outdoor, walking back to Léo's room.
Wymack opened the door, seeing how dark the room was. He turned and looked for the light switch. As soon as Wymack found it, he clicked it on, blinking a bit as his eyes adjusted. The room was cleaner than expected from someone who have been staying in here constantly the last few weeks. "Neil?" asked Wymack as hee looked for the auburn haired boy. A low snore came from under the bed, and Wymack walked to the bed, lifting up the covers, finding a sleeping Neil. "Neil, you have to wake up" said Wymack as he gently shook Neil awake. Neil groaned and yawned, crawling out of the bed, his hair a complete mess, as the loose long short slowly fell down his shoulder. "Coach? What are you doing here?" asked Neil with a tired voice as he stretched. Neil yawned and adjusted the tee hanging from his shoulders.
"Okay so it's time for you to try and start training again. We're going to start simple, by jogging every morning as far as you can manage" Wymack grabbed some shorts and a training tee for Neil as he spoke. Neil just stared at Wymack. "I don't think I'm ready yet, coach" whispered Neil as he hugged his knees. Wymack looked back at the fragile boy, and sighed, walking to him with the new attire. "Listen here boy, I know it's been many hard times since your accident. I'm just trying to get you to think a little bit positive. We try tonight, if your body says no, we stop. Okay?" asked Wymack as he gently put a hand on Neil's shoulder. Neil nodded and grabbed the clothes from Wymack and waited for the coach to turn around, as soon as the coach turned around, he got dressed.
Two and a half hours later, and both Wymack and Neil were exhausted as they entered back on campus. Neil and Wymack split up by the court, and Neil went towards the Fox tower, feeling his feet screaming at him for going too hard. He sighed and entered the first floor of the fox tower, and clicked for the elevator, the silence truly calming him in a way. He closed off his eyes and sighed out softly. He was exhausted. His chest and feet told him they went too far, but he didn't want to feel like a failure to Wymack, and he really over did it. His knees gave out, making him gasp, just as the elevator opened, he crawled into the elevator and smashed the '3' button. he layed on the elevator floor wheezing for his breath as sweat dripped from his forehead. He slowly sat up, using most of his power and then proceeded to stand, just as the elevator stopped at floor 3. He dragged his tired body to the 'apartment' and opened the door, the smell of booze and crack filling the room. He snorted and walked straight for the bathroom as he locked himself in. Sighing, Neil started the shower bedore stripping completely. His body was thinner than what he usually looked like. The scars from the asphalt still a lighter pink than his other skin, but he shivered a bit as he took of the foot braces of his feet, watching the bruised ankles, dark purple going up for about half his leg and almost out to his toes. He sucked in a breath as he walked into the shower, feeling the warm water hitting his sore body comfortably.

Wymack and Betsy invited all the foxes to a movie night at Wymack's. Neil was getting dressed in silence as he shook slightly. His hands shaky as he fasten the boot braces, and looked through the drawer under the nightstand. He found his trusted wrist braces and the wristbands that he got from Andrew. He snorted lowly as he finished getting dressed, a nicer pair of blue jeans, and a grey hoodie with the imprint 'fuck the world' resting over his right side of his chest. He wore black socks, and softly styled his hair a bit, thinking that looking nice would be nice, since it's a dinner. Neil left the room, completely ignoring Léo shirtless standing in the kitchen, hair dripping wet, as Andrew was sitting in the couch, already finished. Neil grabbed his small phone and left the 'apartment', leaving the two short foxes by themselves."Welcome foxes! Feel at home! Dinner will be served soon" said Betsy with a smile, wearing a small red dress with blue earrings. Wymack were in the kitchen, even he dressed a bit nice, with skinny jeans and a long sleeved shirt. The foxes made their way to the table, sitting down in silence. "Neil, I'm happy you're with us" said Kevin near the end of the table. "Me, Matt and the girls have missed you"
Neil sat awkwardly in his seat as he nodded, meeting Kevin's eyes and quickly looked back down.A snort was heard, and Neil looked up at where the snort came from. Léo. "Oh yes, the rat decided to finally get his ass out of that stinky room where he's been coped up like a little fucking crybaby. Honestly Neil, grow the fuck up" said Léo as he smirked a little, testing his limits. Neil's eye twitched a bit, but he kept his ground. Kevin stares towards where they sat with eyebrows furrowed. Betsy frowned. "No need for negativity here, Léo. Be nice" said Betsy as she put down some of the food she and Wymack had made, seeing the fixes bright up a bit more when seeing the food.
As Wymack and Betsy sat down and all the foxes started to eat, the team was chatty. Neil barely talked and picked at his food with his hand, as it hurts to hold onto the fork too much.
Somehow the conversation ended up talking about Neil and his accident.
"I'm just happy most of your injuries have healed, it's nice seeing you out with the team" said Dan with a smile as she looked at Neil, him giving her a small appreciative smile.
"Yes, just wait until he comes screaming at you for doing something stupid while drunk, hitting you across the face" mumbled Andrew as he ate his food. The team silenced at that, Neil taking a big breath. "Please stop, Andrew" said Neil with a low voice, focused on eating his food.
"You threw me out of our bedroom! You have kept youself far away from both me and Flores, for fucks sake, Neil!" yelled Andrew as he stood up, seeing Neil standing up, ready to leave if things got too aggressive, the team stunned, Kevin staring between the two. The tension between the two was so thick you couldn't cut it with a motor saw if you wanted to. "Go on, run, it's what you are best at anyway" said Andrew, now yelling louder. Léo raised a brow, not knowing the entire truth behind what phrase. Neil finally snapped, jumping over the table, right onto Andrew, making the goalkeeper fall out of pure surprise. Neil ontop of Andrew as he clenched his hand. "Shut the fuck up!"
Punch
"Shut up!
Punch
"Shut up!"
Before Neil could hit Andrew's nose once more, someone dragged him away from Andrew. Neil, blinded by anger tried to twist his way out of the person's hands, biting down on one of the hands, hearing the scream behind him, hearing it was Matt, as he went to jump on Andrew, who held his bleeding nose with a shocked expression, Léo holding him up. A new set of arms took a hold on the raging broken boy, as tears were rolling down his cheeks as he slowly but surely gave up in the new set of hands. Neil sobbed out loud, shaking as he closed his eyes, accepting the warmth from the person holding him.
"It's okay Neil, just breathe"
Kevin.
