Today I found out when I'll be doing my act. There were 238 auditions, and 237 were accepted. Something about the last act being cut due to "Putting other children in danger of flying chocolate".
Anyway, I'm number 237! I'm the LAST ACT. That's a lot of pressure. I have to leave these people with a good ending to a (hopefully) great show! If I flop, then it's all over and the show will end horribly. If I kill onstage, then I will be the school comedian!
The show is on April 23. That means there is about one week until I end the show. The bad thing about that is, I have to sit through 236 acts before I'm on. But I'm just glad that I have plenty of time to perfect my act.
Earlier today, I looked to see if anybody else I knew had auditioned. Caleb Banner from my 2nd hour is playing the drums. Hannah Reese from my elementary school is singing Boom Clap by Charlie XCX. Jonah, Landon, and Freddie Blaize, the triplets, are putting on a skit. And...Jamal Woods is doing...comedy?
Hold up.
