"The government are recommending you stay at home and social distance to prevent further spread..." The news anchor announced.
Awsten and I have been living with each other on and off for the past few months; I've been at his for the past three months already.
"Let the chaos begin." Awsten joked as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into him. He jokingly pretended to bite into my neck, doing a cute little growl, causing me to giggle. Once he stopped, I looked up at him and ran my hand through his neon hair. I looked at him like he was a nice cool breeze on a hot summers day, or when feel that peace looking at the sunrise, after a shitty night.
"You're so beautiful." I whispered.
"Oh thank god, for a moment I thought you were staring at me because I'm hideous." He giggled and pulled a dorky face. I placed my hand in his face and pulled him down so that our lips met. He looked intensely at me after our lips broke apart.
"PILLOW FIGHT!" He broke his gaze and grabbed the cushion besides him, hitting my stomach with it. I instantly sprung into action and grabbed one of the other pillows.
"YOU BITCH!" I was stood on the couch swinging my cushion at him and trying to defend myself from his blows. His body was suddenly lunging for my legs as he tacked me down onto the couch.
We both let out laughter fizzle out, as we realised that he was directly on top of me, between my legs. His head bowed into the crook of my neck and kissed the soft, sensitive skin slowly.
My phone started to ring.
"Oh, hi Eli!" I answered the phone, slightly flustered and out of breath. Awsten stopped kissing me and sat up. I put my phone on speaker.
"Hi bug, just wanted to check in with you and Awsten." I held out my hand and Awsten put his against it as ran my fingers over his palm, drawing shapes with my fingertips.
"We're all good!"
"Hi Eli." Awsten cut me off to announce his presence.
"Hiya mate."
"We're at home, we did a food shop early today and it was mad." I resumed.
"Managed to get any toilet paper during the chaos?" He asked.
"Yeah we've got enough for a few weeks. How are things with you and Ella?" Awsten had now interlocked our fingers together.
"We're okay, uni has closed so we've been doing online lectures, but graduation might be cancelled until after summer." He sounded disappointed.
"Oh man, that's so shit. Hopefully this will be over soon and I can fly back for a little family reunion." I smiled.
"Yeah that would be great- oh, Ella just came in. I'm just on the phone to Isla and Awsten." He said that last part to Ella.
