Part 2: Reunion/Birthday Party of Rody

October 28 2028, 8:00pm

I'm still nervous while driving my car, Crister could spot that and tried to calm me in his unique kind of way. HE FUCKING SLAPS ME WHILE I'M DRIVING,

"Wtf tol!, nag dridrive ako." I shouted at him and tried to slap him back but I couldn't because of my seatbelt. "Ano sasampalin mo rin ako? Bading!!" Fuck it he's still immature and helpless, 

"Ano ba kasing klaseng pag dridrive yan, nanginginig." He's right, I'm fucking chilling, the AC is not that high though, maybe I'm just a little nervous to meet my old squad. I miss them, but I don't know, I'm kinda scared, my instincts is telling me something bad, something I wouldn't like.

"Brod, dito na tayo diba? Baba kana muna ter, hahanap lang ako ng parking lot" I needed space, and time alone to think if itutuloy ko pa ba to, I could just turn around at iwan tong gagong to.  "Sige sige, diyan sa may harap ng cafe bro, check mo if pede"

I quickly found and parked in my car infront of the cafeteria, asks the guard If I could "Kuya? Park lang ako dito saglit ha?" I gently said.

"Sir top?" I was shocked he knew my name, I tried to remember who he was 

"Pano mo nalaman name ko?" Sino ba namang di magtataka, I only used my name "Top" kapag asa office ako, I'm a Mall Manager at Dubai, working for Mr. Husein Swaljari, owner of the Dubai Mall, known as the largest shopping mall in the world. I was so lucky to be in it, I found myself fortunate enough, kasi iilan ang mga taong nakapasok agad at may mataas na sahod.

"Ako po to sir, si Bryan" He gently introduced himself to me

"Bryan? Oh! Anong ginagawa mo dito? Diba nagtratrabaho ka sa Dubai?"
I was shocked to see him here, he was one of my staff, I was the one who accepted him, kahit na di kaaya aya yung suot niya nun? I accepted him, I believed na hardworking kasi si kuya, and also Kababayan ko to and I have the position to help him, so why not? "Sir, umuwi po ako last year at naghanap agad ng trabaho, buti nalang may bakante dito sa cafeteria, at tinanggap naman nila ako bilang sekyu sir"  He replied.

"Oh bat ka naman umuwi? Di naman kita pinapauwi hah?" I tried to joke around kasi I already heard sadness in his voice.

"Kailangan sir e, wala po kasing mag aalaga sa mga anak ko, biglaang umalis po kasi yung asawa ko, iniwan po kami"  Fuck it, bakit ba ganyan yung ibang babae? I'm not generalising, kasi yung nanay ko nga ang bait e, pero bilib ako kay kuya, iniwan niya yung trabaho niya dun for his children.

"Osige kuya, you better do good here, may ipon ka naman dun sa Dubai kuya diba? I'll just contact you later, and will help you para maipasok ka sa mas may mataas na sahod" I gave him my number, madami rin naman akong kakilala na may ari ng mga Private shops dito sa Tugue, and I'm sure mas mataas sahod doon kesa dito.

"Bro, the event already started without us, come on!!" Crister furiously shouted at me

Nagpaalam naman ako agad kay kuya at sumama na kay crister. "Sensya na ha, naawa kasi ako kay kuya e" Damn, of all people na lolokohin bakit kasi yung taong mababait pa e. "Hah? Baket ba yun? " He asked, "Wala mahabang kwento, tara na umakyat nalang tayo dun."

The venue was at a 5star hotel here in Tuguegarao, napapangiti nalang ako kase dati wala pa naman to dito.

"EYYYYYY BROOOOOO! "

"TOPEEEEEE"

"CHRIISSSSS"

Everyone was shouting my name, I greeted them with my finest smile, I know I did miss these guys, maybe pagod lang talaga ako ng sobra kaya nakakaramdam ako ng di magandang senyales.

"Bro, Happy Birthday, asan na yung mga chix na sinasabi mo? Akala ko ba ikakasal ka na hah?" I tried to make him laugh, but he just smiled frankly at me while giving me a shot of tequila.

Everybody is here huh? Keana, Rody, Crister, lance, Ferdy, Daniel, Joseph, Danny and Jasper. All successful, magaasawa na nga yung iba e, I found it ironic kasi gagong tao lang kami dati, kumbaga follow the flow, may pangarap naman kami pero di ganun kataas basta ang inisip namin, reunion agad after 8 years. But then, nagbago lahat niyan simula nung college, and also because of college, I met her, the woman who changed my life and the reason kung bakit successful ako ngayon.

Everyone was having fun, I immediately turned off my phone and talked with my friends. It was one of my best nights here in Tuguegarao.

"I'm fucking drunk bro, una na kami hah? " Keana said to us, while carrying her bag, syempre gentleman kami, hinatid namin siya sa sasakyan niya then dun nag paalam narin kaming lahat, halos lahat kase sobrang pagod sa work and also sa event today.

The event was successful, I have to admit it, Crister did an amazing job. Kaya pala sumama tong mokong na to sakin kagabi, matagal na niya palang naiayos ang event kaya pala kuntentong kuntento e. Crister is indeed my favorite tropa inside our squad, kami kasi yung pinaka makulit, pinaka jolly, I know how to talk to people, how to entertain them kaya di naboboring mga to kapag may sessions. While Crister? He knows how to pick a spot, kapag venue na, si Crister na bahala and everything.

"OY TOL, sabay na si Crister sakin ha? Magiingat ka, umuwi ka agad hayuf ka baka sa bar diretso mo hah?" Rody is so mature and gentlemen, siya yung parang tatay saming magbabarkada, but on the other hand di mo aakalain siya ang may pinakamataas na sense of humor samin.

As I got in my car, I checked on my phone first, if may nag message or may notif ako, inoff ko kase and tried to interact with my friends kanina.

The night is still young, I guess I can still go the nearest bar for a drink. As I was scrolling on my Newsfeed in facebook, I was shocked of what I have seen.

It was Lish, and her Boyfriend Mark. My instincts weren't wrong after all, I knew something bad is going to happen, of all people that would betray me, she didn't made me mad nor angry but then, from the moment I saw that picture, I knew my life would be nothing but darkness.
