Can I?

"I'll be back in the morning!" I said as I slammed the door shut. "Dipper!" Mabel called out for me from the Shack, but I just shrugged and continued my walk.

--------

As I got back to Bill, I took off my hoodie and shook his hand. Nothing happened. I sighed and sat behind him. I placed my hoodie over me like a blanket and stared at the night sky. I guess I can't fall asleep if I tattooed the same day. Even if I'm this exhausted.

Next morning

I watched the sunrise again. It's beautiful. I got my phone out and took a picture, then drew it in my sketchbook. When I was done, I stood up and headed for the Shack. Even if I didn't really want to.

After I got back, everyone was gazing at me, but I just walked past them to my room. I put down my stuff and tossed on my bed. I was able to get some sleep. At some point I was on the floor again with Yang sleeping in my hands. My head could finally rest.

One hour later

I heard a creaking sound. I turned my head towards the door and saw Mabel and Stan tiptoeing towards me. Mabel started to unzip my Hoodie and I panicked. I had no way of waking up on time. I had to concentrate and it takes at least two minutes to work.

With that thought in my head I shot my eyes open and felt Stan lifting me up and Mabel taking off my hoodie. Then Stan lifted my right hand and Mabel began to unwrap the bandages. Then I sprung up, grabbed Mabel's wrist with my left one and pulled her closer.

I looked her dead serious in the eyes. "Get. Out." Was the only thing I said before snatching my hand back from Stan's. We all stood up and went for the door. As they turned around, now outside the room, I slammed the door shut in their faces. I locked it and laid back in my bed. I know it wasn't fair towards Mabel because this was her room too. But she wasn't being fair with me either.

"Thank you." I mumbled and drifted to sleep again.

Couple of hours later

Mabel knocked on the door. "Dipper? Dinner is almost ready." It was silent for a couple of seconds and then I heard her walking away. Five minutes later, I woke up, unlocked the door and went to the kitchen. Mabel and Stan were staring at me as I did too, while Ford was gobbling on his food. Not looking up from my own, I asked.

"Whose idea?" I asked out of nowhere, having a theory already. They kept silent. I looked at Mabel through my hair. "M-mine." She stuttered looking at her feet. "What happened?" Ford asked, stuffing his mouth. I moved my gaze to Stan. "I and Mabel tried to take his gazue off....while he was asleep."

Ford almost choked at what his brother stated. He drunk some water to clear his throat and then he snapped at the two. "Y-you s-seriously did that?! Why!?"

"Because we want to know what's going on with him!" Mabel snapped back. "He was unconscious when we got off the Bus! Just look at him! He looks like he hasn't slept in days! He keeps secrets....!" She started to cry. I felt heartbroken seeing her like this. Stan was trying to calm her down while the only thing I could do was to stand up and say. "I'm sorry for worrying you." And then walked away not bothering to finish my dinner.

--------

I was drawing myself in my sketchbook. I was with my glowing eyes and birthmark and was covered in blood. I drew the symbols from my arm as well. I was going to finish the drawing when my tattoo was done.

As Mabel knocked at the door she slowly pushed it open. I quickly flipped to another page.

"Can I see?" She asked approaching me. I showed her one of my old, unfinished drawings of my dream. "It's beautiful." She said with genuine smile forming on her lips. "I didn't know you could draw. You're really good."

"Thanks." I returned her smile with a weak one as she went to her bed, tossing on it face first. Waddles followed her, laying next to her head. I heard them snoring right away.

After I finished the drawing of my dreamed landscape, I put away the sketchbook and laid down in my bed. Second thing, I was on the floor with Yang. The urge to go back to Bill came again. I put down my Bunny and went for the Woods.

As I got there I took off my hoodie and hook my old enemy's hand. I screamed from the pain, located on my wrist again. I tried to wake up, but it didn't work. "Stop it. I won't let you wake up just yet." What the hell is that supposed to mean?!

"W-why?!" I questioned my voice cracking.

"Your body is in sleep paralysis. No one will know if something is actually happening with you, but if you wake up now they're most probably going to catch you." He had a point.

I stood up and leaned against the tree across the statue. "Now is the perfect time to finish the rest of it. Can I?" I thought for a moment. "Do as you please." Regret instantly showered over me. I screamed even louder if it was possible. He started graving in three more places – between the two circles, in the middle of the small one and right under my shoulder. I fall to my knees and then on my left side, on the red leaves.

Thank you for the help
