Chapter 20

Dance with me

When they were done with their luggage, they took turns in the bathroom to shower, brush their teeth and get dressed.

While they were waiting for Pacifica's driver to come and get them with the limousine, Dipper decided to stile his sister's hair.

He made half of it into a bun. The other half he left under the bun long and loose. He held everything still and in place with some bobby pins and sprinkled some glitter all over her hair.

Then he put some of the glitter under her eyes and over her cheekbones. And as a final touch he put some glittery lip gloss on her lips and she was done.

She stood up from the bed and walked to the back of the room pulling back the curtain and walking to the body mirror. She was mesmerised by her brother's work just like always. She walked back to him and trapped him in a bear hug right before they were called by Stan for them to get down.

They grabbed their stuff and ran down the stairs,followed by an excited piggy. They ran outside the front door after hugging their Grunkles for a goodbye.

Stan didn't bother to make breakfast for them as they told him they will eat at the Manor.

When they entered the limousine, they were amazed by how big and luxurious was everything.

"Take whatever you like." The driver said, when he noticed them staring at the sweets and drinks that were displayed on a small table in the middle of the long car.

The driver shot them a smile and turned around and drove off after the twins smiled back sheepishly.

On their way to the Manor they took Wendy, Gideon, Grenda and Candy. They were all surprised by Mabel's looks. They were all well dressed as they agreed to throw a party after they had breakfast. Except for Wendy and Grenda. They didn't have nor knew what to wear at such a luxurious place for such a casual party.

When they reached their final destination, one of the family butlers walked to the car and opened the door. And instantly the delightful silence was ruined by the bickering of the excited teens.

Once they noticed they have arrived and were no longer alone, they immediately shut their traps as if they were threatened to do so.

The butler offered his hand for the girls to grab when getting off the car. Maybe a little surprising, but he did the same for the boys as well. Gideon did not hesitate at all as he was used to such behaviour. But Dipper's face was a little red because of this new kind of interaction.

While trying to get back on earth, he didn't notice how the driver had opened the trunk and the butlers carried their luggage inside the house. When Mabel grabbed him by the arm to get him moving, he snapped out of his trance and noticed they were the only ones still outside.

The others were already inside, either mesmerising the glory of the new Manor that one of their friends was residing in or wondering what got into Dipper again.

Bill Cipher was the one thing that had gotten inside his head, and once again, did not want to leave. When Dipper so hesitantly took the butler's hand, his mind somehow managed to take him back to Bill. He imagined that the Demon's hand was the one he was going to hold, but because of the decision he made last night, it was not likely to happen.

When the twins climbed the stairs that led to the giant door way, they were greeted by a maid, just like the others. She showed them to their rooms in which their stuff was already waiting for each of them. Then she led them to the kitchen where they were told Pacifica was.
