"Are you going to bed soon?" Ford said, trying to change the subject. "We were actually wondering what happened with the dinner?" Mabel said. Dipper finished.

"Did we miss it?" Ford once again scratched his head.

"I thought I missed it too, so I came to have something from the fridge." He said.

All three exchanged looks and thought in unison.

'Where is Stan?'

And as if on cue, the front door creaked open to reveal a man caring six big bags.

"Help!" The man said behind two bags that were partially hiding his face. Ford rushed to him taking the said bags and walked back into the kitchen. Mabel and Dipper each took two bags from the ones hanging on his arms.

Now free from the heaviness, Stan walked to close the front door and into the kitchen. The three who were already there were emptying two of the bags and piling food a top the table. The other bags were placed on the floor under the table.

"Where do you find all of this stuff anyway?" Ford asked his brother referring to the four bags. Stan was now sitting on one of the chairs which were round the table. He then shrugged and said simply.

"I have my ways."

Everyone smiled except for a certain male brunette. He had absentmindedly finished with the food piling and was now just staring at the empty bag in front of him while playing with the handles. Ford and Mabel seemed not to notice him being too busy stacking up the fridge. Stan on the other hand was intensely staring at him as if trying to read his mind.

Dipper was brain storming over the dispute of whether he wanted to risk everything and trust Bill by bringing him back or trust his family and tell them the harsh truth. But, just like always, he couldn't organize his thoughts. He was so lost in thought, that he hardly even noticed the hand waving before his face.

He blinked a couple of times adjusting his vision to the girl standing in front of him. Then he noticed that everyone was staring at him.

"What is it? Did I do something?" He asked confused.

The other three looked at each other and as if reading each other's minds they all shrugged and said it's nothing. They thought it's best if they talked about his strange behavior later in private.

Dipper, of course, haven't noticed how he was slightly smiling through his wild brain storm. Nor did he notice that every time the Demon's name crossed his mind he laughed almost inaudible, but noticeable.

Deep down he was ready to just throw away everything and everyone he loved, just so Bill could come back. He had no idea why was he feeling that way nor he wanted to admit it. But these feelings, nonetheless, were there and made their presence quite visible for Dipper to go unnoticed.

And then, once again he hardly snapped out of his thoughts, when he saw Ford to reopen the Fridge to look for something.

"Oh here it is. How didn't I see it earlier?" He said, while pulling something out of the fridge and closing the door. He placed a pot filled to the brim with the tonight's dinner.

"How did no one see the note on the Fridge?" Asked Stan gesturing to the said note. Mabel walked towards it and read it aloud.

'I'll be back late. There is food in the fridge, so don't wait for me.'

There was some awkward silence before Dipper brоkе it.

He snorted suddenly startling everyone in the room and started laughing out loud. The other three looked at him and then at each other and started to laugh with him. They felt as if all the tension left their bodies and flew through the window.
