Scared?

After they helped with the breakfast, they all carried a bunch of plates and utensils to the already waiting table of people. The staff was caught by surprise when they found out that their guests helped with the breakfast as well as the guests were surprised when they heard they will be eating with the whole house.

After Weirdmageddon, Pacifica's parents started to go out of town more and more often because of work, trying to get back their lost money. While her new friends were busy with school and homework and Gideon was out of town, taking show after show, she grew closer to the staff of the house.

She allowed them to sit with her at the table while her parents were out of town. She let them wear casual clothes whenever they wanted. She helped around the house. Marjorie was teaching her how to cook. She started to do better in her lessons too, because she stopped going out to clubs with people who only pretended to be her friends, because of her money.

And now, when the summer finally came, she was more than happy to be with all of her real friends. To make new happy memories while trying to forget some old ones. She waited a whole year for this moment, as well did everyone else. They were all bound to take every chance they could get and spend as much time together as possible.

But if a certain brunet was to take a word in this.... well, we can say that they were to meet many and new obstacles.

When everyone was finished with their breakfast, the staff cleaned up while the guests went to their rooms to get ready for the party. When Dipper was all set, he went to the ballroom where his friends were waiting for him, because he took longer than he intended to change his bandages .

Or so he thought.

He waited in the ballroom....

And waited...

Then waited some more....

And in the end no one came.

Except for the staff who was occasionally walking around the whole house and piling food atop the tables. When Dipper got enough courage to ask one of the housemaids if she's seen the others, she said they all went into Pacifica's room. She was kind of taken aback from his question because she thought he was with them too.

But what could you expect? He was hidden in a corner, where almost no one could see him because he didn't want to stay in the open and get stared at. He even scared some of the staff.

When Dipper angrily drank the rest of his second cup of pitt cola, he stormed off upstairs. And right before to barge into the room unwelcome, he stopped to the sound of a dispute.

"I told you I will not do it!" Mabel shouted from the other side of the door.

"Come on, Mabel, he trusts you the most! He won't suspect a thing!" Said Wendy, sounding quite sure of her words.

"I made a promise to him! He is my brother and I don't want him to hate me!!" Mabel screamed at the top of her lungs, starting to tear up. "He still thinks you guys don't know anything." She said more calmer now, but the shake in her voice was visible.

She was scared of what would her brother do if he were to find out she told their friends everything without his consent.

But then, what she feared, came at her full force.

Dipper had knocked at the door and was greeted by Candy who went to check who was interrupting their fiery conversation. When she saw Dipper smiling brightly at her, her stomach made a backflip. She didn't know if that smile was forced or he had suddenly became a sadist.
