Today was the day. The day that Jungkook would release a song that kept him up all day and night. The song that gave him so many problems. Jungkook was currently listening to the song, sighing, happy with the outcome. When he was completely satisfied with the song he then posted it. He finally, for the first time in weeks, months even, he relaxed in his chair and closed his tired eyes. When the first few hundred views came in, he smiled happily then got up and stretched.
He went out of his studio and went to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat. Before he entered he saw his hyungs laughing and talking while they bothered jin who was cooking. They all looked truly happy until they saw the pale Jungkook in the doorway. It was then, when their laughter died down and the smiles on their faces faltered. No it wasn't because of the boy's mere presence. It was because of his appearance. He was more pale than usual, very dark and noticeable bags under his eyes which looked lifeless. His lips were chapped and less pink than usual.
Jin wipes his hands on his apron as he made Jungkook sit down so he could feed him cause who knows how skinny he's gotten. They sat in a weird silence before namjoon speaks up "so Jungkook, how did it go? Did you release the song?" Jungkook nodded slightly and spoke but his voice broke the other members' hearts. It was hoarse and scratchy "yeah.. I think ARMY likes it" taehyung who was next to Jungkook frowned and put his hand on jungkook's shoulder "kook.. have you been taking care of yourself..? I know you want to impress ARMY and all but you have to take care of yourself too.." he said in a soft yet stern voice.
Jungkook looked at his hyung with his lifeless eyes and gave a smile that everyone at that table knew was fake but it seemed so real "hyung I'm fine. I promise. I just need a little sleep that's all"
