Chapter 25

I was in darkness. For a really long time. Like really long.

I sat in darkness for what felt like years. I was anxious to get back to world. I wanted to find Chrissy. I wanted to make sure Sunshine was okay.

Yes, I remember everything..Am I not?

I know where I am. I'm in a hospital but I cant see nothing. I could hear everything. So I racked up that I'm in a hospital. Angel had her baby. And a lot of people misses me.

Soon there is light. Happily I stand from my position and walked to it. As I get closer the darkness until its completely gone.

Then I realize that I just opened my eyes. Laying their head on my legs face first was Johnathan.

I tried to talk but my throat was way to dry and when I tried to tap him my body burned. That's when I took the time to look at myself.

Multiple parts of my body was wrapped. My arm and leg was in a cast. There was tiny bandages all over me where I wasn't wrapped.

My chest hurts so bad and where I was shot near my shoulder burned. I managed to make a UN human sound to catch Jonathan's attention.

"Oweeegerrr." I moaned.

Jonathan sat up quickly and started at me with happy, red lit eyes.

"Teynana?" He croaked and I have him a cracked smile and laid my head back.

"Wa-Wa..." I tried to say water. Jonathan looked at me confused.

"What-?"

"I brought  some water and some snacks from the vending machine-" sunshine burst through the door and looked at me and dropped the snacks but not the water. "Oh my god! You must be thirsty here!" She ranted practically shoving the cup down my throat.

As she helped me with the drink realizing i cant do it myself she went on about how they were so unorganized with out me and how much she missed me. She went on about me being in a coma for about 2 months. How they found little info on Chrissy and Keynna. 

I let a sigh go through my lips and Sun stopped talking and looked at me with a tiered frown. She got in the bed and sat next to me careful not to touch my body which was burning horribly. She began to stroke my sore head.

"I know, Tee. I know. It'll get better. We went to church too. Jacob sung as song with Lucy and some British guy with blonde hair and big glasses. And adorable little thing but he sure can sing." She laughed softly. "That so rhymed."

I tried to chuckle but my chest ached making me make twist my face up in pain.

"You poor thing," Sunshine's voice cracked. I wanted to look at her but it would hurt my neck. I could just see the rise and fall of her chest beside me. It was uneven and hitched making me immediately know she was crying. " If you hadn't taken that blown for me. God you'd be okay. I-I should've gotten hurt , Tee. It's just not fair. It's not fair that I've been treating you like shit for the past week and yet you risked your life for me. You put yourself on death row for me." She said through salty tears. I can hear the sorrow in her voice.

"I-..I.... da...don....don't-" I strained. It hurt so much to talk. Just how bad was my condition?

"No, Teynana. Don't talked I know it hurts. I just want you to listen." She sighed. "Teynana what you did for me was heroic. You don't know how much it meant to me that you did what you did. Look I saw my dad. The day you and Jacob broke up in the kitchen I was up. Johnathan took me to see my dad for a surprised. My dad he.. He was so nice Teynana. I missed him so much and I've been a lot. Not nearly as much as you but I'm not perfect."
