Chapter 21

Shana's POV 

I was marked without my consent and by right many ladies would be upset. I wasn't because he saved me from the burning pain. Still, I was embarrassed because I find that it was a little too sudden. Ever since I was marked, I could feel his emotions whether he was happy or sad. 

Also, the main thing I noticed was how clingy I got around Aiden. I would get incredibly emotional if he's not around me for 10 minutes. I tried not to show but it was so strong.

 "It's because you're marked, my princess. That's normal. Plus, I like it when you're clingy. It 

makes me feel extra special and loved." I recalled him saying 

He has also been extra vigilant ever since I was abducted a few days ago. Honestly, I didn't realize I was taken away. It was all a blur to me. It has been 2 days since then and now we're in Maldives for our honeymoon! We're in the buggy and were told that our luggage was already in 

our room. I'm so excited to see the water villa. 

When we reached just outside, I immediately jumped off the buggy and ran through the door which the staff had opened for me. It looks incredible! It's really big for a water villa. It even has a flight of stairs which leads to the roof. Also, is that a slide which leads to the ocean?

  Omg and, in addition to that, we have our own private pool? I'm so excited! Aiden said that we would be in here for a week. Gosh, I wonder how much this would cost him.

As I continued touring the villa, I noticed that there's a lot of see-through glass floors in this resort. Even when you're eating, the table is part of the see-through floor which was lowered into the ocean. Some snacks and drinks were delivered to our room, I think Aiden ordered it. 

I clicked on a button which caused the roof to open up revealing the beautiful sky. How cool is that! I quickly ran up to the second level and saw the slide which I am totally excited to get on!  

"Shana, my love! Come here. I have something to show you." Aiden called. 

I quickly went down curious on what he wanted to show me. As I went down the stairs, I saw Aiden carrying a white fluffy puppy in his hand.  

"Omg, Aiden! Is that a Pomeranian?" I covered my mouth in disbelief. 

 "Yeah, you told me long ago that you have always wanted a pet Pomeranian to keep you 

company." 

"Long ago?" 

 "Yes, remember you kept on talking about it when you just got the job in McDonald's?" 

"I totally forgot about it. Aiden, y-you really don't have to" I started to tear up. 

"I know that but I want to show you how much I care about you." 

"I know that you love me. You don't have to prove it anymore" I hugged him and the puppy started to lick my tears off my face. 

"Aww! Can I hold him please?"   "Of course, you can. It's yours." He said while handing it to me.

It is such a beautiful puppy. It looks like a white fluffy cloud. My heart. It's too weak against any things cute and, also, Aiden. I love him so much and it's not because he showers me with all these luxury things. It's because of how much he loves me. 

The love I could see in his eyes and such kindness amazes me. And also, the fact that he remembered the Pomeranian years ago it just shows how much he cared. I jumped into the bed playing with my puppy and gave it some treats that Aiden took out from the bag. He then, placed the bag of dog food and puppy treats on the table. 

I played with my new puppy and taught it some tricks for about an hour. I munched lightly on the dog's paws and screamt

"AHH SUCH CUTE PAWS!"

It was difficult to control the cute aggression in me. The white fluffy cotton candy was running around in circles with is tiny legs and wagging its tail. I caught the puppy and hugged it. Then suddenly I hear Aiden's voice -

  "Shana, do you want to go down the slide?"  

"Yes, wait for me Aiden!" 

I ran and changed into my swimwear and so did he.  "I'm getting into the slide first!" I said as I ran upstairs.  

"We'll see about that!" Aiden called back. 

And I was right! I went down the thrilling slide into the ocean. Ooh the ocean is a little cold. I had my goggles on and started to swim under. The water is crystal clear and I could see fishes swimming around me. Just then, I felt a pull from my leg. I shrieked and was pulled into a hard chest.  

"Omg Aiden! You scared me!" I hit his hard body.  

He chuckled and we went back up for more slides. There was once, Aiden hugged me and we went down the slide together. It was so much fun! In the evening, we went for cycling and I placed the puppy on my basket in front of the bicycle. It was so adorable!

We parked our bicycle on one side and walked into the Peruvian restaurant. It even has a big movie screen in the middle of the ocean and we're given headphones to listen to the audio. We went back to the water villa, and there were roses on the bed forming a heart and, in the middle, there were pink heart-shaped macaroons. I love macaroons.

The puppy was wagging its tail and started to munch on it. Oh gosh. I'm pretty sure it's bad for dogs. I took it away and sat on Aiden who was chilling outside facing the ocean. He chuckled.

"What do you have there, honey?"  

"Oh, don't pretend you don't know Aiden" I said with a smile.

He tried to look confused. He looked so adorable! I popped a macaron into his mouth. 

"Thank you, Aiden. I'm extremely grateful. Thanks for loving me" I said and continued and faced 

him,  "I 'heart' you" 

I showed him the heart-shaped macaron and I was about to kiss him but it started to pour heavily. It was a storm. He carried me bridal style into the bed and switch on the tv for Netflix. We ordered hot chocolate to chill.

"This is awesome."

I moved a little, and he made a sharp inhale. I turned and realized I accidentally hit his injury when he saved me from the alpha. The alpha was strong and caused his tummy to be bruised. 

Usually, it should be gone within an hour but since he had a small dose of lethal poison that seeped into his injury, which for an ordinary Lycan would have been dead by now, this will take about a week to heal naturally. I leaned closer and traced my fingers lightly on his bruise then gave it a kiss.

 "That tickles Shana" He chuckled and continue 

 "Especially when we there's an explosion of sparks when you touch my skin"  He leaned closer to me, giving me a passionate kiss and the movie was also showing a kissing scene. 

We're in sync with the movie.
