End Of Nightmares (Book 3)

Chapter 1: Into A New World

JiU looked around her. People starting to flock around them, taking pictures. She saw her team staggering trying to get on their feet.

"Wah!! It's Dreamcatcher!!!"

"Look, look! Omo!!! It's JiU!!"

"Why are they covered in blood? Must be a guerilla event! Though this is getting REALLY into their concept!"

JiU grabbed hold of Dami and pulled her up. She gave a quick check and instructed her to grab the others. Handong was still unconscious while Yoohyeon started to vomit blood.

"Lykan, we got to get out of here! Do something about those fucking camera!" SuA shouted at JiU as she and Gahyeon carried Siyeon on their shoulder.

JiU nodded quickly and snapped her fingers. A short EMP burst emitted, frying all the electronic devices in their vicinity. This startled the crowd and threw them into confusion. Using that opening, they quickly pushed through the crowd and started to search for a secluded area to gather themselves.

"What happened? I thought the world is destroyed! Why the fuck everything is still standing?" Dami looked around her as she ran besides JiU.

"No clue. We'll figure what the hell happen later. We gotta find a place to hide first." JiU replied as she carried Yoohyeon on her back as Yoohyeon started to drag her feet. Her face starting to go pale; of the more reason they needed a place to hide.

"Unnie! That building! Come on!" Gahyeon pointed at a rundown building in front of them.

Thankfully this place, whatever it is still have the kind of structure that can accommodate their immediate need. Gahyeon kicked the door down and helped the other get inside. They laid down Yoohyeon, Siyeon, and Handong on the floor and SuA started her job as a field medic.

"Yoohyeon, stay with me! Namu!" SuA called on Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon just replied with a groan, her consciousness started to go in and out.

"You guys, check on the other two. See if there any injury that needs immediate attention." SuA ordered the rest of them.

"How bad is it?" Gahyeon asked her. The worry in her voice is apparent.

"Her left eye isn't responding to the stimulus. The concussion is quite severe. All I'm afraid is she is hemorrhaging somewhere in her head." SuA replied, still trying to get feedback from Yoohyeon.

"Shit! Check you gears, see if any of it is still working. Pool up all your medkit here." JiU gave her order.

The rest of them carried it out immediately, putting all their medkit beside SuA. She inspected all of the medkit but in vain. All of the regen shot has been used up or damaged. And Yoohyeon took a turn for the worst. She suddenly went still, her breathing stopped.

"Fuck! Yoohyeon!" SuA cursed. She tears apart Yoohyeon's armor and proceeds with resuscitation.

"Come on, Namu! You're a beast! Don't you fucking give up now! Come on!!" SuA shouted as she did the compression. Dami was struck with an idea and went to Handong's side. She starting to get her up.

"Dongie! Wake up! Dongie!" She slapped her face but with no success. She checked her vital, but none can be detected.

"Unnie! No pulse! Handong! No!" Dami shook her body.

With no regen shot or any medical equipment, Yoohyeon has no chance to survive. But Handong's temporal reversal can reverse Yoohyeon's state into the previous one, thus reversing all her injuries she currently sustained.

"Get away from her. Sorry, Handong. But our sister need you right now." JiU pushed Dami aside and electrified her palm.

Realizing what JiU trying to do, she dismantled Handong's armor and tore her shirt, baring her chest. She put her palms on the chest and on the left side of the lower chest and de fibrillate Handong hard. With a huge jolt of electricity coursing her body, her heart started to beat again.
